The Club at ArrowCreek - Legend Course
About
The Legend at The Club at ArrowCreek brings Arnie's Army to Reno's golf and gambling mecca. Or at least, Arnold Palmer's golf course design touch. Palmer is the architect of Legend, one of two 18-hole showcase courses at The Club at ArrowCreek. Legend throws forced carries, striking native desert grasses and plush speedy greens at golfers without trying to beat them up quite as much as its sister course, The Challenge.
Palmer - the people's champion - seems to undertand how to put together a course for the people too. ArrowCreek Legend weaves around ravines, dry creeks and rocks. It can really give the golfer a sense of being away from it all - even though it's a quick drive to Reno's downtown casinos.
ArrowCreek Legend's finishing stretch tends to leave golfers talking. No. 17 is a short 294-yard par 4 that just screams at players to try and carry the big bunker in front of the green. Usually in score-deflating futility. Then, No, 18 throws a 442-yard par 4 that includes a big ravine carry at golfers.
Don't relax once you're on the green eihter. ArrowCreek Legend's 18 is the fastest green on the entire course. And ArrowCreek takes pride in its fast greens.

Winter Rot
The course was in terrible shape! The greens were recently punched and sanded. I was upset that information was not shared before playing. The fairways had very little grass to hit from. The bunkers were falling apart and had no sand in them.
AEREATED GREENS
When booking it would be nice to know the greens were all aereated. This took away from an otherwise beautiful course. Carts packed with water and ice cooler - nice touch. Fairways are in good condition and well maintained.
If greens were in normal condition, this would have been a 4 star experience.
Disappointing
While the rate was good it would have been nice to know in advance the greens were freshly punched. We would have played elsewhere.
Sliding downhill
Remember when this was an exclusive private course. Got to play it a couple of times at its peak. Sad to see how it's declined in the last 8 years. Course condition is terrible. Patches of dirt in the fairways, dead grass, etc. Very long course with slow pace of play. Outdated carts, no GPS. Still charge above average greens fees. Won't be back.
Arrow Creek
The course was in a maintenance mode. Sanded greens, thin fairways etc. It is a very challenging course under any circumstances. The winter has taken it's toll on the course. I look forward to playing it again later in the year.
What happened to that once beautiful course?
Let me just preface this by saying I've been playing this course since it first opened and this was BY FAR the worst condition I've ever seen it in, it was very sad. I got a great deal on the round of golf and I was looking forward to it, but it was just depressing. On top of that we ordered two sandwiches and it was almost $30!! I understand that it's not a cheapo restaurant, but my god that was ridiculous and they had the nerve to charge $4 more for a "service charge", whatever that is.
I won't go back this year unless I hear it's dramatically nicer. Wolf Run is still usually less expensive and the course is twice as nice right now.
Golf
Good day, summer needs to come so the course grass can come alive!
This course will put a smile in your heart
Considering it's winter, the course was in decent shape. It's a beautiful place to play, to the north east great city views, to the south west snow capped mountains.
Yes, this course will test you with all your clubs. Hit it straight, pick your spots, but you must know where the slope ends. Super friendly staff!
Great conditions for early spring
Great conditions for early spring. Worth every penny.
traps
traps are terrible,no rakes anywhere,if you hit it in a trap it would land in footprints that were everywhere
Arrowcreek
Great course. The views of Reno are spectacular from many of the holes. The designers did something special with that terrain.
Winter Rulessssss
Had a great time playing ArrowCreek, even though it was a nice day didn't seem to be crowded at all. Being the middle of Feb and after a weekend of snow and rain course was in decent shape. Still can't read those greens though :).
ArrowCreek
It's winter, the course was in good shape for winter. The staff is always nice; it's a beautiful place nice city views, the weather was great, I was golfing in Jan. great day.
Double Booked Tee Time and No Refreshment Cart
My husband and I played this course on a rare beautiful day in January. The club house and the course itself were beautiful. Our tee time was double booked (and it seemed like the time before them was also) and the other group was a group of 4 who had gone first so we were constantly waiting for them on every hole. The people behind us were so impatient that while on the fairway we would often find thier balls also. This made for a long rate of play, and there were no refreshment carts running.
No service
I have never been to a course where there were no facilities to offer food or drinks.
Not even water.
Sad...
My first impressions.
Decent course conditions. Greens were in great shape for November. Club house is superior. Extremely courteous staff. Very accommodating and friendly.
Top 5 to Visit and Play in The Reno Tahoe Area

Just call or Book online. Play now. This will put a Smile in your Heart. You will Love this course like I have. Yes this course will test you with all your clubs. Hit it Strait, Pick your Spots, but you must know where the slope ends. Great place for Carvers, Benders, what have you. Have fun. Please visit the Range before Starting your Tee Time. Excellent facilities.
This course is challenging.
I played after 1:30 PM, or during Twilight. Course was in good shape for the use it receives.
Bring a bag full of shots...
Bring a bag full of shots and a keen eye for your flat stick. Arrowcreek, without a doubt will challenge many golfers. It requires a good balance of course management and reliability for skill challenge. From tee to green or from green to tee, accuracy is a must on most holes. Greens stood their test and will run true. Views are dynamic, overlooking, "The Biggest Little City in the World".
Arrowcreek, a treat for Reno!
