LakeRidge Golf Course
About
LakeRidge Golf Course is a Robert Trent Jones course that has consistently been voted the "Best of Reno" ever since it first opened in 1969. Though the course sits less than five miles from downtown, the surrounding mountains provide a tucked-away feel. There are some stunning views from the elevated tees but don't get too distracted, this challenging course demands your attention. Mature trees tower over the fairways but they are thankfully wide enough to offer a little room for error. Water comes into play frequently and there are strategically placed bunkers lurking along the undulating greens. Accuracy is essential at LakeRidge Golf Course. The signature hole is the par-3 15th. This tee sits atop a rocky ridge that is perched 140 feet above Lake Stanley. You'll be playing downhill to an island green on this challenging but scenic hole.

Great golf now deal
Got a great golf now deal to play for $30 with an afternoon tee time. Definitely worth it. Would play every week for that deal with no hesitation. Course is in great early season shape.
Priced at 45 and it is worth it over $55 and pass
Excellent staff here. No range, a large hitting net with free balls enough room for 4 to warm up.
Bunkers had plenty of sand and consistent.
Plenty of practice putting with greens that were similar on course.
negatives were the conditions of the course for the price. I would never consider this place an $80 plus course for the conditions, (tee boxes, poorly manicured fairways and mixmatched grass types etc. ).
If you can find this for $55 tops and under on golf now it is worth the price. Not a must play course.
Lakeridge
This course has a good mix of water obstacles, terrain changes, and hole lengths. The tees, fairways, and greens, were in nice condition. Play was a little slow and there was no course marshall to check on rate of play. The snack cart was parked out, but we never saw it on the course.
Pace of play was unbearable. 5 and a half hours for a round. Spent more time waiting then playing.
Great track
Course conditions were excellent but the greens were wicked fast and difficult to adjust to. Signature par three island green is spectacular!
I would certainly play here again when in the area.
Sadly there is no driving range there to warm up but there is a large driving net at least.
Worst course I have ever played I would not recommended this course to anyone
Beautiful golf course
Absolutely beautiful. Layout is challenging but fair and fun. Greens were the hardest part. Very fast and plenty of break. Fairways are wide enough for a fun day golf. Missed the island green on 15, but still loved that hole.
Augusta Greens
I don’t think I’ve ever seen these greens this quick. Blazing fast, you do not want to be putting downhill. Tough round with some tricky pin placements. Jim got us out a few spots early, 4hr 30min round. Great weather and good company on a Master’s Sunday. Keep up the solid work LRGC crew
Greens were firm and fast, fairways well maintained
Pace of play was 4:30, fun course with a nice variety of holes and layout
Phenomenal
This course was phenomenal!! Staff, equipment, course layout, course upkeep… everything! Will definitely be back, and recommend to others!
Lakeridge
Have played the course many times over more than 30 years. In the past few years maintenance of facilities, especially bathrooms have been neglected. Improvements are needed.
Great for time of year
This course normally is one of the best in Reno! I never have anything negative to say about Lakeridge. For the season and weather Reno has been getting, the course is in great shape! It was very surprising. A previous review complained about the goose droppings…I noticed what they were talking about, but it took 2 seconds to move it out of the way. Greens were very fast but stuck when you had a great shot. This is always one of my favorite courses!
Overpopulated by Canada geese
Liked the course and staff was very professional
But it was hard to find a spot without Goose feces to play your shot, disappointed
