Mismanaged course
This is a nice course with a nice layout, and has some challenging holes. With that said, I feel that the course was completely mismanaged for the day I played. Tee times were backed up because the club booked a tournament seemingly not understanding how long it would take and overbooked public foursomes thereafter. The tee time I had started 45 minutes late, and the round was almost 6 hours due to horrid pace of play that was not managed by a ranger. On top of that, I asked when checking in if they were backed up and I was lied to and told no.
Happy golfer
Course is in great shape, greens roll very well, staff is very friendly and accommodating!!!!
The course was in excellent condition
The course is in excellent condition. The greens are medium/fast and are rolling nice. Fairways and rough are at a good length and very playable. I have played over 100 courses and this is the best course in the early spring as the drainage is great.
Good course
Everything was great. Small problem with pro shop. Couldn't find our reservation through tee off .com. but nice enough to let us play.hopefully they can get that worked out.
Nark
Great course to play always in fantastic condition and the staff is really helpful
Pace of play
Range is needed on this course either pushing groups along or having them allow faster groups behind them to play through. Way to long sometimes to play this course.
Nice interesting course
Challenging and interesting course in very good shape for this time of year- first time playing here but will return- good layout, lovely views.
Great first round of the year!
Played here last year around the safe time of year. Glad to have a kickoff round! Interesting layout...would love to play it when it’s all grown in!
nice course
Had a 6:09 am tee time, arrived at 5:55am. Checked in with the pro shop. No carts were out yet, so i had to wait for them to bring me one from the garage, no biggie. Got the cart loaded, took a few putts on the practice green which was conveniently right next to the tee box on 1. Tee'd off right at 5:09. Played the first 3 holes fairly quickly and then ran into two groups in front of me. Kind of odd for a 6:09 tee time. 1st group let me play through after the 6th hole. The second group did not. I passed them at the turn. Mildly annoying but tolerable. The course itself was in great shape. Fairways were beautiful, bunkers all raked (a little hard for my liking but not unplayable) and the greens were fairly fast and rolling well. The layout was interesting, the straight holes had fairway bunkers right in the 230 to 250 yard area making you think about carrying them up laying up and taking a longer approach shot. The green side bunkers combined with narrow fairways approaching the green make accuracy imperative on the course. None of the holes are very long, but there are a few tricky dog legs that again make shot selection and accuracy very important. All the par 3s were cart path only. along with maybe 4 or 5 of the longer holes. Over all a good experience and i will most likely return again, even though this course is 50 minutes from where i live
