needs some work
several greens need patching good place to warm up in the spring before hitting a tougher course
Wow, what can I say.
Played once about 8 years ago and thought we would give them another try.First contact was very abrupt when telling us we MUST play at the given GolfNow time slot. We knew that but were told in such a manner that we felt like we were definitely not welcome. That is the last time we will ever play there, no matter how low their rates are.
When done, didn't even stop for a beverage!!
greens need work
Quailwood is a par 68 short 18 hole golf course. It is located in Dewey, AZ within the subdivision of the Villages of Lynx Creek. They have three sets of tees and from the tips measures just under 5300 yards. The course is in pretty good shape but the greens need some work. In places there is no grass and many golfers do not fix their ball marks on the greens. There are a few challenging holes especially #12 where your tee shot must clear a large ravine and doglegs to the left. Overall it is a good course to tune up your game.
Mature short course
Reminded me of some of the dry courses Downunder with small greens. Fairways were dry but decent and green were a little rough. This course is a lot of fun for the price and definitely an opportunity to work on your shorter irons.
GREAT LITTLE HIDDEN COURSE
HAVENT BEEN UP HERE IN A WHILE-SEVERAL HOLES WERE CHANGED UP A BIT. OVERALL, NICE RELAXING DAY IN THE COOLER CLIMATE. DONT FORGET THE SUNBLOCK.
Great value
This is a very reasonably priced course. There are beautiful views and it is a fun quick round.
Getting ready for winter
Greens were average due to aeration and sand. Tee boxes could use some work. Check in staff started out a little cranky but came around. I still like this course alot l will be back. Good value for the money
Needs some work,,,,,,but!
When you play this course you have to remember that you're not paying a lot for it (especially when booked through GolfNow. The greens on this day were terrible. We never did see a ball washer, maybe one. It's a chance to swing the club and work on some of your short stuff. It is what it is.
Needs work
Played there a few months ago and the course was in nice shape. This time the greens were pretty bad and need to be worked on. Some of the tee boxes as well. Not sure what happened in a couple of months for the changes in the course. For the price it can't be beat. I'll give it a try is another few months.
quailwood greens
Nice little course. could use a lot of grooming. Proshop man was not friendly and should have stayed at home.
bunkers need work and so do greens.
Nice course for the money.
nice course,fair price
user friendly, I play with hickory shaft clubs, sets up well for these clubs,
more golf is good
This course is kind of hidden in the back of a mobile home park. I got to play 18 holes for under $15 with a cart. The front nine is open and fairly easy with very little trouble. The back has a few more trouble areas that could come into play. The greens are in pretty good shape except for two that seem to have something turning them brown. The course is in fair condition, and easy to play for even a beginner. It seems like a low budget endeavor. The starter was not at the check-in counter for several minutes, and the carts are showing age, the food was okay the beer was cheap at $2 a glass after 2PM. Clean rest rooms and friendly staff, a good value for a tune up on your game. A day when can golf is just plain good!
Putting
Greens are starting to get a little rough, very blotchy makes putting tough, adding a few strokes to my game
Quailwood Golf Course
We have played this course several times in the last month and it has been in decent shape for our area. The greens were a little brown on certain holes but overall in ok shape. The pace of play is good especially in the afternoon.
course is worth about 10 dollars
More of a par 3 course. Some short par 4 and 5. Course conditions very poor. Not well taken care of. Greens in rough shape. Power lines over your tee shots. Could not find any sand to repair divots. Cart had trash in it from previous use. Great course to work on short game.
Good Value
Well maintained course. Carts are a little old and don't accelerated smoothly and no sand/seed provided for divots but since cost is lower than elsewhere it's a great course to play.
new owner greens in great condition
Great for a relaxing exp lush greens Nice remodled clubhouse and great personal
