Bellair Golf Club
Bellaire Golf Course in addition to being a good place to practice one's short game it also tests accuracy with long irons. The course aptly tests control over the ball with the irons. Par 4s make up over half the hole at this executive length golf course. Every one of the greens are heavily bunkered and water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. It is close to a residential area but that only creates more narrow fairways, adding more challenge to the game. The course is well shaded and also well maintained, but play can be slow on occasion. Bellaire Golf Course offers many discounts, including a twilight discount, a super twilight discount, and there is also an early morning special.

It’s a nice neighborhood course. It’s not terribly pretty or fancy but it’s a good affordable way to spend the afternoon. The attached restaurant/bar is a very nice feature as well.
4th time here.
I was disapointed playing here today. I payed for 18 holes of golf but at no time was notified that the 1st nine holes would be closed account reseeding. So I ended up playing the back 10 to 18 twice. I would not have driven that far just to play 9holes twice.
Stay away until it gets reseeded
Back nine play only. Sand traps were more like concrete. I wouldn’t advise playing there until the reseeding has a chance to fill in.
Front was closed for overseeding , which caused a backup when making the turn to replay back nine
Over-seeding 9 holes
This rating is based on the fact that over-seeding is in progress. The front 9 is closed. You will play the back 9 twice. Greens and bunkers are very hard. Shots did not hold on the green. A lot of roll. We had difficulty putting a tee in some of the tee boxes. I did not see any notice on Golf Now regarding over-seeding.
You get what you pay for
Course is in bad shape, not sure if is the season change or what? But seems that the place is going down hill.. really needs renovations and maintenance, also there was a guy w a cart picking up “lost” balls, and he seems to work for the course, picked up one of our balls, and when I asked him he totally denied it, I just saw you!! .. haha.. anyways, really inexpensive to play but you do get what you pay for.
Terrible shape embarrassed for my guests from Canada. The sand traps were dried up mudpits the fairways were mostly crabgrass and weeds. They said new owner hopefully he got a good price and will put some money in the course. I can only hope.
Played this course many times. Was not my first time.
Either thick or dry short fairways no middle. Bunkers as hard as concrete and greens were soft. Unkept tee boxes . Not very busy so Pace of play was nice at least
Okay for the money, just ok..
Course looked like it had not been mowed in weeks, maybe the lawn guy on vacation.. Okay for the money this time of year in Phoenix..
Maintenance crew might as well be on strike
I play here because my grandfather in law insists playing here but I think last Saturday was finally the straw that broke the camels back. I understand this is a "budget course" but when you don't even mow TEE BOXES, theres a problem. I realize its summertime in phoenix but there is no excuse to not mow your fairways and tee boxes. Absolute embarassament of a golf course. I would consider this more of an overgrown playground than an actual golf course. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Definitely not the course it used to be
The place is falling apart fast and either needs to get sold or close up shop. All the tee boxes were horrible and being a dominantly par 3 course it’s not like they have loads of fairway to keep up so you would at least expect the tee box and greens to be decent. Tons of weeds and overgrown grass plus mud. Even a good shot was still a bad lie. I played here maybe 5 years ago and remember it being so much better and fun. I guess at $20 you have to temper your expectations a bit but I definitely won’t be back if something doesn’t change. Also doesn’t help that the person running the shop doesn’t know how pre paying on golf now works. Tried to charge me and was adamant I didn’t pay even though I showed him the email that also shows the charge.
Worst course ever!
If you like playing out of dirt and mud bunkers this is the course for you. I really can’t believe I payed to play this course. Definitely downgraded from what it used to be years ago.
Extremely fun day of golf with family. Course was in great condition. Course played smoothly. Staff is always friendly. Highly recommend this course!
Greens are good. Small course with majority of holes are par 3. To make par, Need to land on green in 1st shot.. Roughs and fairway grass is not v good. Overall fun playing here
Good share 18 layout. Only issues are the tee boxes. Need replanting and leveling. You can play with hotdeal for $14.00
Good for the Money
Nice executive course. Close and good for the money! Greens will get you if you don't stay below the holes!!
