course is in very good shape
greens are cut and the putts are rolling true, nice executive course layout, the course was busy but finished in 3 hours
An Oldie but a Goodie
For the price you can't beat this little 18 hole executive course. At par 59 it is a mix of 13 par 3's and 5 par 4's. The par 4's are driveable for longer hitters and the various length's of the par 3's make it a good course for dialing in your irons. And it can be played in under 3 hours if you get there at the right time.
very good condition
greens were slow but true due to the overseed.... will only improve after the greens can be cut to standard....
Nice executive course
The greens look good but have not been cut after over-seeding. You get a slow roll on putts. However, the course is off cart path only which is good. The bunkers are on the hard side but found it easy to hit out from them. Nice executive layout.
The course was busy but we played in 3 hours. It's a great course to hone up on your iron shots and short game.
Nice course for your short game.
Disappointed with the course. The greens were shaggy and uncut. Disappointed that there was no notification of overseeding and car path only. Very disappointing felt like golfing in the park.
I like these older Phoenix area courses that have mature trees and a slower pace. Some of the back nine holes had some pretty challenging bunkers and some had water in play. Overall, I enjoyed it and would play it again. The greens are all pretty challenging.
Bellaire- First time
First time playing the course. Had a blast and thought the T-boxes, fairways and greens were in great condition. Pro Shop staff, Bob and Kathy were friendly, helpful and eager to get my threesome out on the course early. We had a great time and will be adding Bellair to our list of favorite courses to play. Great job Bellaire staff
I like Bellair because it is mostly Par-3 holes so 4 people can play 18 holes and not be out in the heat all day. The problem is that the tee boxes and fairways are not maintained on all the Par-3's. Uncut and weeds everywhere. Hit a ball to the left or right of the green and its very hard to find it again because the grass and weeds are so tall. A simple mowing would do the trick. The Par-4's are kept nice. Staff is very friendly. It's a fun course just needs maintenance.
Good deal for AZ Summer
Course is fun and fairly easy. Staff is very friendly. Wasnt in the best condition but in line with most average courses for summertime in AZ. $10 hot deal makes it worth playing.
I’ve played Bellair many times. It’s not the prettiest course, but it’s always been decently unkept. Today fairways were in rough shape, and the rough was even worse. The grass in the rough was as high as 6” in some areas. I stopped play and left after 2 holes. I hope this was just a one time disappointment, I’ve always enjoyed played there, and hope to continue to play at Bellair.
Employee at counter was friendly. Greens were covered with pine needles, every green. Rude employee cutting grass continued to keep cutting while we were on tee, just kept circling while we were hitting, his time would have been better spent going around and using a blower to clean off greens to make customer experience more enjoyable. Mower operator also placed patrons in danger while cutting dangerously close to players and not waiting tfor them to pass. Not an enjoyable experience, my son thought the man on mower was a “jerk”
very good conditions
they continue to water the course to keep it nice and green despite the summer sun.....
For the money, not a bad coarse. Greens are in decent shape. Just played a quick 9 in about 90 minutes.
Good for just getting out there
Cheap enough for sure but hard to find any grass on the faitway
Nice course, mostly par 3’s of course but challenging enough. Played through in about three hours. No wait, no clutter. Course conditions are below average to average which is representative of the cost, very reasonable.
The tee boxes are garbage. If you hit anywhere then the fairway there is nothing but hard pan. The cart paths are too close to the greens. The range balls proliferate the area around the first fairway which impacts play on the first hole. However for the money this isn’t a horrible place to play if you you want to work on your irons. Please improve the tee boxes and level them out
