Very nice
Greens are by far the best in Green Valley. Over all course is very nice,.
Great shape
course was in great shape for winter play in Az. greens were great and rolled true, but hard for me to read. Over seeding was good. Not much roll but nice to play from.
Above average course in Green Valley
The Country Club Golf Course of Green Valley is one of the best ttwo courses in the area. This is a very golfer friendly course.
Best course condition in Green Valley
Not the most interesting course in Green Valley to play, but is in excellent shape -- far better that any other course the public can access. Greens are near perfect, fairways are well grassed and groomed and watered enough so one can take a divot (on most other GV courses, you nearly break your wrist if you take a divot!). I'd play it again in a heartbeat!
Green Valley CC
Course is in excellent shape.
Play now before the January snowbirds arrive.
Traditional course not a typical desert course
The greens and fringes were great. Fairways were green and very little roll, especially for a southern Arizona course. Made the course play a bit longer.
All in all a great experience as usual
Best we've seen in Green Valley
My husband and I are able to play the courses in Green Valley a couple of times a year when we visit his parents and the Green Valley Country Club is really above average for what we've seen. Course was in great shape, staff was friendly, communication was great. Of course, the weather in southern AZ in November is spectacular!
Another review from last year suggested they have better signage to direct you from hole to hole and they HAVE done so! There were signs clearly indicating where to go and we had no problems whatsoever.
We are many years away from retirement, but we liked this course so much, having a place in Green Valley on this course is now in the discussion of our future plans!
nice older course
Well maintained both fairways and greens. I would come back again. Shot start was nice, everyone gets done around noon.
best condition south of Tucson
The grasses have filled in nicely from overseeding. The traps are a little inconsistent. I have played twice as a twosome in 3 hours. All other times under 4 hours.
The practice facility is well maintained and offers a complete range of shots to work on. (putting, chipping, sand, irons and woods.)
Downside for me is the number of times must cross a busy street.
I play there as often as possible

Great Shape
I really enjoyed playing this course.
It is in great shape. From the tees to the green.
The staff was very nice and informative.
I will be back.

The staff helps make you feel good or bad at any course and everyone we came in contact with was very good at their job.
Excellent
Everyhing was great. Course in great condition following over-seeding.
Fun coarse!
The members that I was teamed up with where extremely helpful with coarse knowledge to help me navigate the coarse. All of the members I met and all of the staff where very friendly. The coarse was very busy that morning, but the pace of play moved right along, and we all finished in good time.
It is a fun coarse to play!
Take your own drinks, no coarse drink cart.
missed the rain
Can't say how nice the staff was. Was rained out the day of play, but was offered another day.(would normally have lost the money) Getting ready for overseeding, but the course was in great shape. Took less than 2 hrs to play!!!!!! Must have hit 'em straight :)
Great Private/Public Course
The course can be challenging at times. Overall, the fairways were in good condition considering they were preparing for the overseeding. One of the better courses in Green Valley.
Lovely
Mature trees, wide open fairways, plays much like a midwestern course, not much carry but still challenging in spots. Pleasant - staff as well.
Playable
Bunkers were immaculate but greens were spotty at best. Fairways were okay. Nice little course but not one that I would consider a "must" in the grand scheme of Southern Arizona courses to play.
Awesome course, left hanging
Great staff, course good to excellent and sand in good shape too- as I found it many time. Finished in three hours went in to enjoy a malt beverage and could not get served cause we were not members or guests of members. Too bad only four other folks in restaurant and it was as if they did not card that we had just finished golfing . They were throwing away money cause we were thirsty. Wish they would rethink those policies, I live very near and it influences decisions to join or not.
