Don't miss this course
Tees, fairways, and greens are in excellent condition. The greens are on the fast side, but very fair. Fairways are quite generous, although it is possible to find the desert! Pace of play was acceptable, somewhat slow but there are some long drives from green to the next tee.
Overall, this is one of the best courses in the area.
Lots of roll
For a lady, if you play from the forward tees, the bunkers are always in play, so you have to be careful to stay in the fairway!
Beautiful course
Lots of chances to get into trouble including water hazards. The course is beautiful with lots of green grass fairways.
The greens were very fast on the day we played but we were told that by the starter before teeing off.
Enjoyed the course
It was a challenging course with it's sand traps and narrow fairways. The fairway were beautiful. The greens were challenging also.
Great Course
We played the course with our friends this is the 4th time we have played the course in the last two winters. It has always been in good shape, and we haven't had to wait at T-boxes, speed of play seems to always be good. Plan on paying again.
nice course
the course was in good shape pace of play was good no waiting will play again
Way Better Than Expexted
Difficulty depends on tees played. The wind was a factor though it was sunny all day. The shotgun afternoon start worked well. The pace of play for our position was fast. The course was immaculate compared to the others we played (6) on this trip.
Overseeding complete and course in good shape
We played on Sunday, November 10 and the course was in very good shape. The only issue was that the bunkers hadn't been groomed in a couple of days (or so it appeared). The course is well handicapped and the holes that are 1, 2 and 3 are the toughest holes on the course to make par. The course is a good test of golf. Some holes require placement off the tee not length but you do not need to be a BIG hitter to play those that do not. You need to stay in the fairway or shorter rough or you will find yourself in trouble (desert, rocks, cactus, people's homes, etc.). Fun to play and good for all levels.
Great golf holes. Greens were slow. You'll need most of the clubs in your bag.
Three nines available... played the Quail and Coyote. Nice mix of holes between long and short par 4s. The par threes were a good mix of long and medium length. Overall, very pretty course.
Great value in Green Valley
The course was in great condition considering it was recently overseeded. The greens were a little patchy, grass was long on tee boxes, some GUR on fairways but it was well marked.
Considering the condition of the other courses in Green Valley, this is a great value. We played the Quail/Coyote combination. Quail has some funky holes. Coyote had a couple holes with dual tees; couldn't figure out which ones played to the true yardage.
Course was very playable in all aspects
Although not in the perfect shape it was 2-1/2 weeks ago, it was
still a great experience. The fairways had browned a bit, and the greens did not hold as well. I attributed it to the time of year and anticipation of the upcoming reseeding project. Still the best value along I-19.
The course was in great shap.
Everything went well, from the booking to the playing.
Great course.
Best maintained course in Green Valley. I have played all the other Green Valley courses and this one is the best to play.
Despite bad weather conditions , we appreciate this golf course We play with a friendly member
Thunderstorm at hole 15 ; so impossible to finish . A lot of casual water , golf course was closed
But we appreciate the first 14 holes.
Very good quality price
Great shape
Course was in great shape - Totally worth the price
Best condition from Tee to Green.
I've play almost all courses in southern AZ and this is one of the best courses on my list. Everything from tee to green is in great condition. Everywhere was so green and well maintained. Feel like I was golfing in MI.
Chirp, Chirp
Our group had birdies, and it was fun watching the Quail all over the place. The course is in great shape from Tee to Hole. Players are taking care of the fairways filling divots; the greens handled ball hits without being hard to hold. With the Hot Tee Time Specials, I spent more on gas from Marana, than green fees.
VERY well kept
We were able to play for ca. $16 through golf now, making this particular round of golf a steal considering the quality of the course (played Coyote and Roadrunner). Love summer time golf deals!
very well maintained
course played great got behind a slow foursome this kind of slowed down our pace of play but not all bad little over 4hours
