Lots of shade
The grass is in excellent condition. Not too many sand traps but the sand is hard. The water comes into play only twice. The staff is really nice. I would play this course every day If I could afford it.
Great condition
Greens were barely marked up, fairways were nice, condition reminded me of Troon management. Kudo's.

Ryan in pro shop epitomizes why this is best value in the east valley..

Great executive course
FOS is a great place to work on your short game and still has 6 holes that allow you to use driver. It’s especially nice at this time of year because there’s plenty of shade. The greens are in good shape but the fairways and rough have very wet areas. It’s clear that the watering system is in trouble. It would be helpful to have the really wet areas roped off because we seemed to be in standing water a few times before I realized that I should not be taking a cart through. In spite of it all, still had a great morning!
A nice Sunday morning
The course has a watering problem so there are some very wet areas. Greens are in good condition but the pin placements are tough.
The day was great and and the company was better than my game today.

The greens are the best in the east valley and they gave us a JR rate for my son...
Couples golf
This course provides all you need for a really a couples round of golf. The executive layout is very golfer friendly and our wife’s really enjoyed the morning of golf. The course was in very good shape and the greens were excellent. The staff was friendly and courteous.The course had several locations of bathrooms. Just remember to get the code to the doors.
Great exec length track
FOS is a great course if you are looking for an executive length layout. The fairways and greens are in top condition and the pace of play is brisk. Even higher skilled players will enjoy several challenging par 3 holes with a lot of opportunity to work on their iron game.
Fully recommend!
Challenging par 62 course> Most par 3”S are 150 yards or better. Greens have lots of breaks
