golfers everywhere.... course kept moving and all the conditions were either very or excellent.... well done...
Some Greens Need Work
New cart paths are great! Not sure some of the front greens have some knarly spots that interfered in my putts a couple of times.
Big picture really like the course and friendly staff!!
This was my second time playing this course and since last year they have paved all the cartpaths which is a huge improvement! Mostly par 3’s so a nice easy course for those of us who are not long ball players. Staff was very friendly. Pace of play was slow but it was a gorgeous day so we just relaxed and enjoyed being outside!
Had a really good golfing experience at Peoria Pines! Staff was just excellent!
the course is in pretty good shape. The greens are very wooly and slow, the rough is deep, and the fairways are fair. Great bang for you buck!
Just opened from overseeding, so that said, the greens were VERY slow and wooly! Pace started slow but picked up free a couple of holes.
Course always in good shape. Good scramble tournaments where everyone has a chance to win
This is my first choice and good value.
Happy with new cart paths
We play here about once a week. New cart paths are excellent. Reseeding turned out well, and I'm sure the recent rain helped. We started at 7AM and finished in well under 3 hours.
always well maintained
greens were slow and will be cut once we dry out. 3 inches of rain a few days ago. new cart paths put in, well done on the overseed.... moved right along on cart path only...
I called the course to ask about overseed and was told no the course is in great shape. I even asked specifically if the course was green. Well, the course was totally brown and all the grass was dormant. I didn’t ask but it appeared to me that they had already sprayed their pre emergent chemicals. Someone lied to us.
Fun to play
Had a good round of play. Will be returning . A pleasant outing overall.
Worst course I've played this year
This has to be the worst course I've played, the greens were atrocious, there were huge brown patches on the greens. The fairways were all patchy and brown . there were more weeds than grass on the fringes. at one point I was teeing off and one of the greenskeepers saw me trying to tee off and he still rode his mower right into the middle of the Fairway instead of pulling off to the side. at this point I feel stupid for not asking for my money back. And they need to take those photos of a pristine course off their site because they are very very misleading. If I could I would give a no star rating.
Nice short course that still gives you a challenge good for tuning up your game. The staff is freindly and they have cart service and a nice grill and bar. Very nice facility.
Unacceptable...This was a great course
I have played many rounds at Peoria Pines over the years. It is sad to say but this course is in abysmal shape. Where do I begin?
1) This is an executive course with short holes. Why are you trying to double the size of the greens? The greens are half nice grass and half sand with quarter size plug holes. You’re better off chipping than putting even on the greens. To make it more mind boggling, the pins are placed close to the poorly newly expanded green in bad shape.
2) The fairways are gone. The middle is nothing but dirt. However, if you avoid the fairways, you will find playable grass in the rough. You get penalized for a good tee shot and a good green shot.
3) A precious poster made a good point about the signs saying “NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ON THE COURSE.” Hello! It’s 110+ outside and the cart girl doesn’t start until 9am. I play many other courses throughout the valley and they don’t care if you bring your own water cooler.
It’s sad to see this course the way it is. This use to be one of the nicer courses in the west valley. They had the best greens. Maybe to save money and not water the course they’re hoping for a monsoon deluge.
course in bad condition
course in very bad condition. greens are loaded with sand.
