Encanto Nine Golf Course
The Encanto Nine Golf Course lies to the west of Encanto Park, and offers an executive-length golf course perfect for anyone who seeks a fast-and-loose round, with tee times passed out first-come-first-served. About an hour and a half is usually all it takes to play through the golf course.
The Encanto Nine Golf Course sits in the heart of Phoenix, and claims the honor of being the third-oldest golf course in Arizona and features a casual vibe, perhaps due in part to the foliage. Abundant natural palms line the golf course, and between them golfers can catch beautiful glimpses of downtown Phoenix. The course was designed by William P. Bell.
Good course, great for ladies and for the men who want to work on irons. Easy walking course. Greens in great shape.
Excellent course for high handicapper. Greens in excellent condition but fast.
course conditions and value
course is an excellent condition. Greens running fairly quickly. But true. Excellent value if you want to just go out and play nine holes and relax
Good course to practice game
Terrific course to practice your game. It is a quick round, able to finish is less than 1.5 hours.
The course was in good shape. We played at 5:45 am and the course was still very wet from watering. The water features were all very low. Lots of birds, turtles, and frogs. Greens played slow in the morning, faster as they dried up. Clubhouse guy was a jerk. Bag attendants were fantastic. Narrow fairways, very hilly in the rough. Would play there again, for sure.
Nice course, great value
Nice fast course with great greens. Enjoyed walking the course.
a course in great shape for a quick stress free fun 9
Nice little track for $9. Have 3 par 4's but if you're working on your game or a player you can hit 9/8i off the tee. Didn't bring anything higher than a 7. Would not play here on Thursdays at 9 am, a woman's league plays at 8 am every Thursday
Old School Charm
Fun course to warm up if you haven't played recently. City course, well maintained. Walking is the only way to go. Your GPS might try to take you to the 18 hole course.
