Coronado Golf Course
About
Coronado Golf Course is as excellent place for golfers to work on their short game and it is also great for beginners. The course is relatively flat making it pleasantly walkable. The greens are large and the fairways are lined with trees, but still have generous landing areas. The holes are quite challenging with water hazards and bunkers coming into play. The relaxed atmosphere and affordability of the course have made it popular among locals, yet the course is still surprisingly not crowded most of the time. Coronado Golf Course has convenient practice facilities, including a lighted driving range that stays open until 9 every night.

Never Again
Monday I played this course "twice", i.e. the first time and the last time. It's basically a cow pasture without the cow chips. There were plenty of golfers on the driving range and course so I guess they do a good business. The only plus for me was Rolling Rock for $1.50 in the clubhouse.
You get what you pay for
The course only accepted cash, glad I paid online. They did not have any carts available but it is an easy course to walk. The greens are not in the best if shapre and the fairways on the par 4's are very hard. Don't get caught in the bunkes because it's hard dirt not sand. If you want to practice your short game its a fine course to do that from tee to green, just don't expect to roll any good putts.
Hidden gem
The course is not in great shape and certainly not a tournament course. It’s a nine hole course that is an executive style with short par 4’s and Par 3’s. However, it is a locals hangout and they have a really nice driving range that was completely full while we played. The pro shop is decent and the owner is a great guy. This is the place you want to bring new golfers to spark their interest in the game. Make sure you sit down and have a cold Pepsi with your beginner after the round!
Easy to walk 9 hole executive course
No frills executive course that is perfect for the beginner or very casual golfer. Remember, course is cash only!
This is a low key, bargain rate course. You get what you should expect here and I'm ok with that. Driving range prices are great.
Great beginner course, great value
This course is great for someone like me who is learning and wants to play 9 holes. Great value. The course conditions need some TLC, but as a beginner I didn't mind at all.

A Reliable Course for A Quick 9 Holes
Just arrived from Alberta a few days ago and wanted a quick 9 Holes to get back into the he golf season. I have played this course in the past on previous trips. I always found the staff friendly and always provide good service. Today was no different. The course in decent enough shape

Definitely a course for the very casual or beginner golfer.
This 9 hole executive length course takes ONLY cash, no credit cards. It is a no frills course. Not your daddy's country club, but it fills a golfing niche -- the beginner or very casual golfer. The greens and #1 & #9 par 4 fairways are in pretty good shape while #3 & #6 are not. No ball washers on the course. The big draw at this course is its driving range. It was completely full.

Coronado 9 holes
Great short course to work on your short game. Greens were a little bumpy but overall no complaints.
If need a walking practice 9 holes only
I enjoyed this course. I will start by saying that it has dry areas of hardpan dirt that you will either roll your ball through or have to hit out of during the round especially on the longer par 4 that does not have grass from tee to green. The actual greens are rolling nicely. This course is fun but can be disappointing if you're expecting grass from the tee box to the fairways to the greens. The range is great and can hit balls and chips at night.
Coronado Golf Course 26-Feb
The course was well kept except the fairways as some were brown and some green. Greens were nice and were quick and tee boxes well marked out. Enjoyable afternoon!
Beginner course

Great price, easy pace
The layout is a little tricky at the third hole but the staff try to explain it to me before hand when the website says the location is cash only they mean it if you book online through GolfNow it’ll accept credit cards but if you need anything else when you get there including adding a card or anything it would have to be cash on hand. But overall it was a great time.
Fun course to work on short fame
Easy, fun course with quick pace of play, and plenty of chances to work on your short game. Wife and I played nine holes in 1:20. Recommended for beginners but fun for a 15 handicap, too.
Nothing fancy
Quick and easy course to practice short game. Show up and tee off.

Great course to hone your short game
We were in town for one week and we chose this course to warm up for the more challenging courses ahead. This turned out to be a perfect plan.
While some of the fairways were a bit thin, the greens were in great shape. Testing out new clubs, and their performance around the greens was just what the doctor ordered.
The staff was extremely friendly, but be advised this is a cash only course. I highly recommend it for use as a practice round before a big game.
Dog Track
This title might be a bit harsh but this course is in really sad shape. All the greens have huge dead spots. There is no signage so you have no idea where to go to tee off or which way to hit the ball. The price was right for a course of this caliber. I'd recommend Continental, Encanto 9 Hole, or Mountain Shadows Short Course.
We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any disappointment you experienced during your visit to our golf course. We are sorry for the lack of signage and the condition of the greens, and will do our best to address these issues. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
