Sun City Country Club
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Nice Old course
Reminds me of back in hte midwest, lots of trees, wide fairways. I like to play the afternoon when noone else is out,
Greens where very slow, tee blocks where shaggy. Bunkers where not kept up and most where hard. Fairways where the only good thing about this course. Wont play again until they speed there greens up. Country Clubs need to be in better shape than this.
One of my favorites
I've played this course 3 or 4 times this year. I keep bringing friends who haven't played it, and they are equally impressed with the mature trees lining the fairways, great condition of the greens, and lush fairways. I will be back.
As mentioned in other reviews hit me straight and it's a pretty easy course. Nice layout, good fairways and well positioned bunkers. The greens are slow and it's a good thing. Any faster and you would never hold the green on approach shots. Friendly staff. Good value. I will play it again.
2nd time playing S.C. C.C. It's a nice switch from the usual Sun City courses
Tree lined fairways provide some shade (and obstacles). Greens are fine, not all ball marked. Lush fairways, good pace of play. One of my favorites for the money.
Great Sun City Course
Fairways and greens in great shape. Better conditions than any of the RCSC courses in Sun City, probably with a lot less money for maintenance. Would recommend to anyone looking for golf in Sun City
I’d read several reviews that stated the fairways were generous, but I managed to leave myself all sorts of trouble by missing fairways, and then having challenging recovery shots hampered by well placed trees or bunkers. The greens were large, although a little slower than I’ve been used to, but were smooth and consistent. The course was fun for our mixed foursome, and can say that we will come back, and bring guests.
Well groomed and maintained
Great pace of play. Greens were amazing and overall great golf experience. Good value
Got to keep it straight. If you get in trouble easy to get out of trouble. But no cart girl have to go to the club house on the turn for water or a beer. But overall good course.
Nice course. Well kept. Challenging. Pace was good. The food options at the bar weren’t impressive, and over priced. Cart girl had few items and didn’t have what I wanted the 4 times she came around. Definitely could do better with their amenities, but the course itself was worth the visit. Will definitely play again here.
$6 for GPS
They finally got a GPS unit on the carts. Instead of building the cost into the price of a round, they try to charge extra for using it?! $6?! Only if I knew the $6 was going into a cut down 100 trees fund! Way too many trees in shot lines! Several tee boxes have giant trees in the shot path of tee shots, some have trees over hanging your approach shot lines. Tough is tough, but fair is fair. Okay, but there is better value out there
Cut the grass already
Nice staff but very disappointed in the lack of maintenance on the grass. We hit our ball 10 to 20 yards off the fairway several times and could not find it to save our lives even though we saw it clearly from the Teebox. The grass was way too long. We golfed on Thursday and of course had been open after re seeding since Monday so there’s no excuse for not having the grass cut. It was a foot-long and some areas. The pro shop was kind enough to give me some free clear replacements for my foot Joy shoes. The court should be really nice in about 2 weeks
Way To Go Sun City CC
We play every week and have been playing some pretty rough courses lately but Sun City C.C. was happily in great shape. The greens were in the best shape of any course I've played this summer. ( Grand Canyon, Hillcrest, Rancho Mañana, Cimarron, We-Ko-Pa, Talking Stick)
Great job Sun City we'll be back.
