About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Place is a dump
The course was in terrible condition there were no Rangers on the course very poor etiquette of everyone around me with exception of one foursome which had a young man golfing with them . Gaz in front of us we’re playing jagames on the back T , people were zipping by us trying to rush through with nowhere to go ahead did not see a Marshall all day the grass hasn’t been mowed in weeks and even the driving range you could’ve broken ankle there . The greens are either lightning fast or they were like a Brillo pad , I was a guest of a resident who already had a teatime on another course I book this time, to try to avoid the rush of all the grinders trying to get there around then before it got warm here , First time there will not go back even of all the other golf courses in Phoenix dry up and turn in to. Also the yardage numbers listed on the Golf.now course description did m also the yardage numbers listed on the Golfdied now course description didn’t Match what was on the scorecard at the course , Hard earned money poorly spent considering all the other better golf courses around this one ,
Westside Golf Challenge
Tight fairways with mature trees and doglegs. Plenty of putting challenges. Only 6,250 from back tees, but you might not go low. Fun course.
Not a Country Club
Sun City Country Club is far from a country club but offers one an opportunity to play a round of golf in a nice setting. Staff was super friendly. Greens were fast and well maintained. Tee boxes were average. Fairways were OK. This course should be in the 50 to 60 dollar range but i played it and practiced my shots.

Course conditions
This course was real green & lush when we played it a couple months ago. It was not nearly as well manicured or green this time.
Interesting Parkland Course
Nice course among tree-lined fairways. Some water to avoid. Fast pace of play. Good value.

Service was very professional, fairways and green in good condition, pace of play less than 4 hours. All any golfer could ask for.
very average course
Expected a nicer course and nicer course conditions... muddy in spots and fairways hard and not great grass.
No welcome friendly feel in the pro shop and not generous fairways. We have never liked courses lined with houses so close.
Absolutely atrocious. Unorganized, waited in pro shop for 5 minutes for help. Had complications with cart personal due to outside beverages that I brought in. I have been playing golf in az now for 20 plus years, and never had a complication with any other cart individuals at any course ever.
First Impressions
We enjoyed our round and were lucky to be paired with a lovely couple who were familiar with the course which was a great help in getting around the course. Conditions were very good, though the course was quite windy.
Would be happy to return and play again, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
