Hit it and chase it
Great course to break in your game. Course is an exceptional value in this area. Greens moderate speed but greens and fairways very lush for a public course. Flat terrain, wide fairways, bunkers in nice shape. Friendly staff. If you are a beginner or a snow bird shaking off the rust before tackling more challenging courses you will more than get your money's worth here. Played in just over 4 hours.
Great muni course that's actually affordable during the winter months. The course is always in good condition. Speed of play is usually pretty steady.
I saw this course one day while driving down Rural Rd. I figured it was some rinkydink muni course, but was quite surprised. Although it's flat it was very challenging with lots of sand, trees, water & length. It's 7000 yds from the back tees! It was in great shape: fairways, green & tee boxes. Bunkers were a little hard, but it was after a day of rain. I will return.
We would come back...
We really liked this course. It was our first time playing there, but I'll be back. The course was in great shape, from tee to green. Lush green in the fairways contrasted nicely with the dormant grass of the rough. There was plenty of width to be able to hit away on the tee with little fear. There isn't much variety between the holes, but that was ok. The length of some of the holes is what gives them their difficulty. Four hundred plus par fours, two hundred plus par threes. Other than that, there weren't too many places to get in trouble. The greens were soft enough to hold the long approaches. All in all, a good place to work on your game. Not to mention the driving range, the putting green, the chipping area and the bunker practice areas. Get there early to try them out.
Great municipal golf course!!
This is a great course in Tempe!! Condition is the best in years!! Friendly staff nice layout always a great day at Kenny Mack!!
Great course, great value. Course in excellent shape.
Good value/we'll maintained
Only of thing is the layout of holes 17 and 18.. What genius decided to separate holes 16 and 17 by half a mile?
Otherwise the course is a great "Muni".
Course is in excell my shape Abe pace of play very good
It's why we play public courses
Courses like this are for enjoying your round without having to grind over every shot! You have the opportunity to use every club you carry. Go play it and you will be glad you did. Bunkers the day we played were wet. Trusting the sand pro is normally run thru them when sand is dry??
Great place to walk
Good place for walking. Flat and lots of trees. Really enjoyed the walk. Greens were very good and staff friendly. Could play here every day.
Senior rate walking is a great deal.
Great municiple course
The course was in excellent condition today. Greens were fast and the tee boxes were healthy too.
The only downside to the course was the condition of the bunkers. They need to be cultivated to fluff the sand. All of the bunkers our group played out of we very compact.
We love this course and will be back to play.
rushed to the first tee good shape
the staff rushed us to the first tee prior to our tee time i think due to a cancellation. we ended up catching the group ahead of us and had to wait anyways...the course is in good shape the greens rolled very true. just like most courses this time of year are over charging
The greens and fairways are in excellent shape! Pace of play was very good. Staff very friendly.
