Great track
Great course that you have to think and plan your way around. If you are looking to bomb drivers all day this is not the place. Course was in great shape and greens were very soft and true. Highly recommend giving it a shot
Beautiful course but tough!
The desert landscape and course layout makes Wickenburg Country Club a must to try out. However, be warned that you have a high opportunity to lose a lot of golf balls and shoot a high score if your an 18+ handicapper like myself. With that being said I’ve gone back several times and had a great time every time!
Excellent course
The course is in excellent condition from the tees to the greens. I always enjoy playing Wickenburg Country Club.
Tight and tough
The course was in really good condition. It's one of the tightest courses I've ever played. Course management is crucial. You can almost leave your driver at home I only hit mine 4 times and probably should of only pulled it out twice. The last at the pro shop was the best host I've ever dealt with and was super helpful and friendly. She gave our group a little overview of what to expect and she actually made me nervous because she warned us how hard the Course was but she was 100% correct. I'll definitely be back
Good value
Course was in pretty good shape given that it is mid June. Fairways were long but other than that pretty good shape
Save your money for Wickenburg Ranch
Greens were inconsistent and poorly maintained. Playing from the back tees (only 6300) leaves you with obstacles you have to hit around off the tee (large trees and bushes) and over 50% of the holes were nearly blind shots to fairways,
It is quite common for players that have never played this course before to think that 6300 yards is short and should be easy to score on. If you play the course from locations where it is designed to be played from (the fairway) it will play more like 7000 yards and you will most likely need to hit something other than driver off the tee to put you in that location. This is not a course you can "attack".
Our greens are not in the condition we normally like them to be in, but they are not poorly maintained and they are getting closer to where they need to be every day. As far as blind shots, there are 4 holes where the ideal landing area is not visible from the tee. There is one tee that presents challenges to those that draw or hook the ball.
We respect your opinion, comments, and rating on the golf course, but they are very typical of someone that had a rough time on the course they thought would be easy.

Tough course
Target golf course..tight landing zones..each shot must be in the right position from tee to green..check the layout before playing..don't use your driver on short holes..
This review is pretty much spot on! If you are looking for a golf course where you can swing away with a driver and find it, this may not be your best choice.
We would like to see more than 3 stars and hopefully we will get them on your next visit.

every thing is exc. for sand and greens are starting to grow after 2 weeks from overseeding it is starting to look good

Admittedly our golf course is not in it's normal very good condition. But, we did just come out of over seed. By the 1st of November we hope to be in much better condition. Our rates do reflect the shoulder season time and are very reasonable when compared to other courses in the area.

Excellent golf experience
I always love playing Wickenburg CC and look forward to my next visit. The course is in excellent shape after the over seeding. The staff was very courteous. I had lunch at the course restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed the Patty Melt and sweet potato fries. Waitress was nice too.
