West at Eagle Valley Golf Course
About
The West Course at Eagle Valley Golf Course winds through the Carson City foothills at the base of the Eastern Sierra. The links-style layout features an interesting variety of holes that provide a formidable test for even the most advanced players. The fairways are lined with native desert vegetation that grows tall enough to provide some challenge and several water hazards are strategically placed throughout. The dramatic elevation changes in the rolling landscape also require forced carries. Accuracy is vital to doing well on the golf course, offering a true risk-and-reward experience. For golfers wanting a more relaxed round, Eagle Valley offers the less daunting East Course.

Good course and great value
We were all impressed with the conditions of the course, pace of play and value. Staff was very friendly as well.
perfect day-everybody was out golfing
Because it was one of the nicest days in N. Nv. everybody was out-at one point there were 4 groups on the same hole (a par 5) things really ground to a halt so we left after 13 holes
Big problem is we had to play behind a group of six. they would not let us play through and six is to many in any event. Course needs a lot more supervision. Also observed many carts being driven up on sides of tee boxes and in close to green aprons. I would recommend this course for this area given the value vs other options.
Not the course it used to be
I have played this course in the past and was impressed with the play and condition. I was sorely disappointed with how it has deteriorated in just one year. The cart paths were like going off road, the sand traps were terrible.
I don't think it's worth the money even at a discounted rate.
I guess they were working on the bunkers because there was no sand
Course itself was in good shape for this early in the season, however several "sand" traps were doing some construction work(drains) and were unplayable-hopefully when drains are finished they will put "actual" sand in them
