Best golf value in Las Vegas

There are several good things about this course. For one, it's little known, therefore easy to get a tee time on any day of the week. Just walk in and play.

Secondly, it's good for a beginner like me. Just par 3's, nothing longer than 170 yards and only a few bunkers that come into play on 2 holes.
Third, and best of all, it's an amazing value. For under $20 you can get 9-18 holes of golf any day of the week.

The downsides are, it's walking only (a plus for some who want exercise), and the maintenance is not great. The greens are probably the slowest, and longest greens I've ever played. They are cut to about what is fairway length on most golf courses. They are also covered with pine needles, goose droppings, and untrimmed patches. You also have to tee off mats which can be a hassle on several holes where there is no spot to put a tee peg.
There is also not much of a clubhouse, and no cart girl, so bring your own libations.

But beggars can't be choosers, and when you want a quick round of golf without breaking the bank this is, by far, the best spot in Vegas.

Joe jet Says

I have been playing this course every once in awhile from the 70's. It is an easy course for seasoned player and fairly difficult for beginners. It's a fun place to go and play nine holes with no hassles. I like Los Prados, Eagle Crest, Reflection Bay and Desert Pines and EVERY and ANY golf course that is available. But if You have a Wife, Gal or Friend that is not a Pro bring them here and have some fun. I do recommend the NLV Par 3.
