Wolf Run Golf Club

Very nice course with huge fast greens. Hasn't fun putting. Would like to see smaller greens like #18. Watch out for creeks crossing the fairways.

well unfortunately I booked the the 4th instead of the 5th by mistake so when we showed up they said they had openings but would not honor the Golf now reservations
so we had to pay full price which was painful since I already paid so if there is anyway to get a credit towards another golf trip would be great so it costed me 225.000 per person per round again my own fault

First time playing this year. Course was in great shape coming out of winter. Look forward to playing this course whenever we visit Reno.

Need to move people along. 5 hour round is not good

I like the terrain of this course with it being hills and drops. Very nice views too!

Played with a friend on April 26, 2023 and we were matched with 2 single digit singles. Great guys, perfect weather snd the course was in surprisingly fantastic shape for so early in the season!

Wolf Run is a good course with a great lay out. And consideringmthe winter the course is in good condition. BUT, the pace of play was horrible. We waited on every hole beginning with the first one. This may be due to the fact that they have no course marshals!!!! It was 5 1/2 hours!!

Duncan golf management gets a swing and a miss rating for Wolf Run. Which is sad because I happen to love all of their other courses. First off, we pull up to the tee box at the first tee and are awaited by a group of 12-20 high schoolers standing on the tee box for a “high school practice”. So, if you’re gonna have a group of 20 high school kids practicing on the actual course…. Maybe don’t sell other tee times to the public???? Just a thought. Secondly, the course is in overall very poor shape. Fairways are splotchy all over with patches of dirt everywhere. Greens are decent but also not the best. Similar to Washoe Golf Course. Third, when we arrived the staff in the pro shop was very rude, and never mentioned to us that we would only be able to play 9 holes… even though the rate on golf now said 18 holes. They didn’t say one word about it. Not one. So as we make the turn to go to hole #10 we are approached by a 20 something year old kid with absolutely no respect or ANY type of professionalism. The kid was an absolute punk as he argued with us and tried to act like we were the ones in the wrong, when we were never told by anyone that we had “only payed for 9 holes” ($50 for 9 holes is a joke by the way, for a dogtrack of a course that’s always in terrible shape).
Overall awful experience at ‘Wolf Run’. I would honestly give it a negative rating if I could, as the course is nowhere near the quality that they charge for it, and the entire staff is very rude and unprofessional. Course conditions are very poor. Just don’t waste your money here. Go to Lakeridge or Toiyabe instead, a lot more welcoming and professional. Whoever is running the day to day at wolf run, maybe have some evaluations for your miserable employees, and have some respect for your paying customers. Just a thought.

First time at those course. Paid for 18 holes. When I got there they said they only do 9 after 1pm. No starter, everyone just raced to first tee. Waited 20 minutes at each hole after the first two to tee off. One hole was unplayable due to snow and water. Nice views. Would like to play again in the summer when snow is gone and pace is hopefully better.
