Easy to get tee times
Conveniently located. Really nice staff. Needs new cart paths.
A nice course, fair and challenging.
Liked the course, decent shape.
Felt a little rushed, it was crowded but I guess that's expected.
Good but not great
Several places along cart paths near greens with no grass, paths need to be redone because they are very rough. Clumped grass left by the mower In many places. More than I allow in my own yard and I am no fan of yard work which my yard shows.
great course even in the rain
I played this course in the pouring rain. It only took me 2 1/2 hours to play. The course held up well with all of the rain
Had Fun.
Location of the course was great for us. Enjoyed playing and would go back. Pace was good. Greens were good. People were friendly.
Nice layout of holes, pace of play was good
Played here for third time while on vacation, greens and fairways were ok but other parts of the course need repairs or refreshing. Clubhouse ,restrooms are dated need re done.staff was friendly. Course is ok to play but it doesn't have the wow factor that others in the area have.
Great value at the beach.
Still a good course. Undergoing some course improvements like taking out excessive trees and cart path repairs. Fairways and greens in very good shape. Staff was great. No GPS - bring your Golf Buddy or rely on sprinkler heads. Great value. Will return to play. Central location in NMB.
Great Golf Course
I first played Arcadian Shores in 1980. It was one of the premier golf courses in Myrtle Beach then, and it remains so over 30 years later, even after nearly 100 courses have been added along the Grand Strand. It's a classic, outstanding design featuring an abundance of trees, bunkers and scenic water hazards. The greens were excellent!
Not somewhere u want to play if u want to play in 41/2 hours
We arrived on time to the tee and waited ten minutes to hit played the first hole in 20 minutes 2nd hole and that is the adventure. Their was FOUR GROUPS WAITING TO. HIT. I have been playing golf on public courses for 25years and I have never seen anything like this. Now further things that have happened is when we told the ambassador that there were open holes he said that they were playing for money that is why play was slow. As we were coming up on the 15 hole we looked to the hole next to us and on the green were 7 GOLFERS on the same GREEN. This place was totally out of control. Not enjoyable at all. And will not be returning to this course at all. TOTAL TIME TO PLAY. 6 HOURS
considering cool spring - good condtion
The fairways and greens were in good condition considering the cold spring. Pase of play was surprisingly good.
The rough was still dormant.
nice course, good value
Having never been to Myrtle Beach I did not know what kind of course conditions to expect in March. I was pleasantly surprised, everything was green except the dormant rough. The only downfall was the pace of play. It was very crowded the day I played, but I guess that can be expected when you play a course that is a good value.
Excellent greens. Challenging bunkers.
Great value for the money. No cart GPS so bring your own device.
A first class course in Myrtle Beach, but challenging.
This course was a real challenge for an over-the-70 mark, but doable if you stick with it. Watch out for the alligators!
Monday Myrtle Golf
My gf and I went to Myrtle monday am with a round planned for the afternoon at Arcadian Shores. Golf course was easy to find, good parking and clubhouse/pro shop older but was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gps on cart was great since we had never played there. Course was in ok shape. Season has been cold and wet so course wasn't in summer shape. A few memorable holes # 2 and #13 are quality holes. 13 is a nice designed par 4 over a canal with a lake and road off to left . This course is good to start ur week off b4 you go out and play other MB courses. Played 3 courses while in town, this one was #3.
