Tanna Farms Golf Club
About
Tanna Farms Golf Club in Geneva offers some of the best golf that the Fox Valley has to offer. The layout meanders across prairies covered with wildflowers and weaves through lush wetlands. The course begins with the stunning signature hole. The par-3 opener has an island green that sets the scene for this thrilling and memorable round. Although it's a seemingly short course at 6,510 yards from the back tees, what it lacks in length it makes up for with plenty of other challenges. Besides the first hole, there are a few other tough par 3s, including one with a postage-stamp sized green. There are some daunting par 5s as well. Tanna Farms Golf Club is not a lengthy course but the layout is generously spaced to offer breathing room between the holes and the undulating slopes and subtle elevation changes make it pay much longer.

great pace of play
1st twilight time on a Sunday and finished in 3 hr 20 min, Was awesome to play at that rate and not have to wait on this given day. Had 2 4 somes a hoel ahead but we never quite caught them
Disrepair
Seems like the course has fallen on some bad times. They do have new carts but you need them to slog through the water on the cart path a the rough portions of the path. They did improve #13.
Interesting Course
Tanna Farms is a fun course to play where accuracy is the key. Water is prevalent on several holes so plan on bringing extra balls with you. This course makes you think about each of your shots. It's not very long but there are some very long Par 5s but are offset by some short Par 3s.
Fun and challenging course
Course is fun to play.
Clubhouse is close to holes 1 and 18. Hole 10 is other side of the course so there's nothing available at the turn.
Cart path is rough and needs to be fixed
Interesting layout. First time playing a course starting at a par 3 and then just moving to par 5. I did like the track and plan to play it again this year.
A reasonably good course gone down in quality. Good: Greens are in excellent shape
Except for the excellent greens, nothing much to say about this course. Fairways are in bad repair, The cart paths are in horrible condition. The numerous bumps and pot holes make riding on the paths a literally back-breaking proposal. For practice, there is a small patch of putting green,
Dead Tee Boxes, home of the divot
Tee boxes are dead on many holes. Greens have tons of divots on the par 3’s.
Expectation for paying $60 was far more
Hot dry weather has taken its tole!
Burned out tee boxes and a couple of fairways and greens. Not water to drink on the course. Nice layout that needs better course management. Weather has been hot and dry but without some nurturing this course will be a burned out hulk in a couple of weeks.
