Previously known as The Jackal Golf Club at Mt Brighton. Sprawling across a majestic landscape covered with spring-fed ponds and mature oaks, The Golf Club at Mt. Brighton offers a challenging round as well as stunning scenery. The golf course shares the grounds with a ski resort, guaranteeing a variety of dramatic elevation changes throughout. Club selection is the key to doing well on this course. Accuracy is also an important factor. The tricky greens are balanced by generous, player-friendly fairways. Acres of natural wetlands, including a cascading waterfall, have been incorporated into the design. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The layout opens with a dramatic, downhill par 4 that offers a panoramic view of the course. In addition to the golf course, The Golf Club at Mt. Brighton also offers a grass driving range.

Elavations
fun course to play. need a tour guide to play the course tho. lol. need to play it a few times to know where to hit it. but overall had fun. fast pace and super nice layout. lots of blind shots.
tough greens. average speed. but not a bad thing. could three putt easily
Subpar Course Conditions...
Course seems to have gone downhill over the last couple of years. Doesn't seem as though management is investing any money into the course. I know it is late in the year, but the fairways were long, uncut for awhile and had clumps of grass clippings throughout. Greens were slow and full of ball marks. The sand traps were hardly sand, rather rocks.
Overall, for what I paid to play 18 and a cart, cost was in line with conditions. I likely won't play there again unless it's free and a last resort. There are too many other nice courses in the area.
Was told we needed a collared shirt next time !
this coarse in no way commands a collared shirt and to be told that was unappreciated. friendly folks tho. Several elevation change shots fun place to golf . grounds were ok greens were super soft. Hard coarse but the landscape is worth the trouble.
Terrible pace, weird ranger and overall ripoff
I've played this course several times, for what it's worth, but this was the first time in a couple years since they changed ownership. It all started with the lady working at the clubhouse who, while very pleasant, wasn't the least bit helpful. She explained there was a league happening but didn't inform us that there was a possibly a train wreck waiting ahead.
The pace of play was absolutely atrocious, and instead of the lone ranger asking the league to pick up the pace, he told us after the first hole "You know we close at 8 right?" in a tone that conveyed "you are idiots and why would you even be here?" It was incredibly off putting and unprofessional, and he kept constantly following us around and acting odd to boot.
We only played 6 of the 9 holes and were so frustrated that we didn't even want to go to the clubhouse to complain since we knew what the response would be. The greens were in awful shape and the rough was way too long in many places- not in a challenging manner, but in a "we've given up" manner..
While I understand that everybody is trying to make a buck (I'm all for capitalism) this course should 'not' be selling tee times for 6pm that are following a women's league (or any league for that matter). It was a joke.
First time playing this course
For the hot deal price it was an amazing course with great views. Hot dog was quality as was staff.
great view
Some great views. Would like to go back in the fall. Very tight ! Your aim better be on lost 10 balls
Challenging
Some crazy holes on the mountain side and some real thinkers scattered throughout. Course is in great shape, but pace of play could be a little faster. At the same time it was a Sunday.
Signature Holes
Nice course with a few breathtaking and fun play holes. Course was in great condition. The only negative is that it is tight with a lot of lay ups off the tees
Challenging course
Slim fairways and vast amount of trees. Great course for the moderate-experienced golfer.
slow play
the course was very slow we had 2 sets of four ahead of us we were a three some we had a 2 and 4 behind us. Their were always 2 teams waiting at the tee boxes. we paid for 18 holes but left after the first 9.
Tricky layout
Some nicely constructed holes, but the overall course feels squeezed in. Greens are extremely slow. Gimmicky in spots. Worth playing once, but I wouldn't go back.
A lot of fun. Bring your A game, or a lot of spare balls!
Very unique track for a michigan course. A lot of fun, has some tight challenging holes.
Like this course
Played in exactly four hours on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
One complaint: How about some yardage indicators on par threes? Would it kill you guys to spray-paint a number on the cart path or something? Actual yardage is rarely even close to what's written on the card (particularly on #11), and there is nothing around to indicate actual yardage.
Fun course
Great course but if you can't drive the ball straight the course plays difficult. Some super fun holes hitting off of the mountain but very narrow
Not Again
Course is really sad shape. It's deteriated considerably since I played it two years ago. Lot of forced carries for women.
One of the most scenic courses in the area.
It's an absolutely beautiful course. Elevated tee boxes with absolutely beautiful views. However, bring your. A game. After you finish taking pictures you're going to have play some real golf. The elevated tees will make you think twice about club selection especially if it's windy. There are a lot of water hazards and fairways lined with trees or marsh. Their is no room for error on a number of the holes. But if you're up for a challenge...this is it!
Very Nice
Beautiful day on a beautiful course. Felt great for only losing one ball.
Very challenging course
This course is very different, I will play it again for sure
Jackall Experience
This is a fun and challenging course. Error margins are minimal, be prepare to loose a few balls.
