Huntmore Golf Club

Play this course since it opened. This place is a challenge to all playing levels. Great greens, great clubhouse guys. Always treated great! It’s a cant miss!

Course is in good shape, greens are rolling good. Pace of play was consistent and slightly slow, total round took 5 hours. Staff is excellent and very service oriented. Great course that is well managed.

First opportunity to play and was more than pleased. Challenging but not punishing. Staff extremely helpful. Single page sheet showing fairways, distances to various landmarks was most accurate, helpful and coupled with GPS giving distances to greens a real stroke saver for first time play. Just loved everything about the course. Can't wait to get back!

Greens were freshly mowed, always seem to score better on the back 9 vs the front. Good course

It's a good course, very nicely maintained greens with some speed, interesting layout.

The first few holes are tough and there are some blind shots. There are some holes that play through neighborhoods. If you like nice fast greens you'll like this course.

Very courteous and competent staff. We showed up as twosome. They offered to move us up in front of several foursomes (tournament or league). That never happened to me anywhere else.

The course was in good shape. It had rained in the morning but it appeared to drain pretty well. Greens rolled true. Lots of tall trees. Few blind shots. You do need to be accurate...

Don't be in a hurry here at Huntmore. You wont enjoy it here if your expecting to play a speedy round. All that being said, its a great overpriced course that can provide an enjoyable experience if your lucky enough to avoid slow players. An honest seven thousand yards is hard to find in Michigan but Huntmore has it. Unfortunately too many people that need to play at a par 3 course end up here. I will never pay the full retail price at Huntmore, for the exact same reason I wont pay 25 bucks for a big mac meal at McDonalds. Its just not worth it. In summary; don't mess with Huntmore unless your game requires you to play seven thousand yards or you have money to burn.

This is a wet course. The early you play the wetter. Recent rain will put you on cart path only.

The driving range was nice with several targets for practice. The course itself was better than I expected. I played from the white tees which made the course more challenging as I didn't need my driver very often. Maybe 3 holes. The greens and fairways were in good condition and the value for the dollar amount paid was more than fair.

Huntmore GC should be on everyone's playlist at least a couple times a year. The course is well designed, well maintained and offers an up-north feel. Wayward shots are penalized. The greens are excellent. They are above average in speed, maybe near 11.5 on the stimpmeter when they are dry. The ball rolls smoothly across the putting surface. They have an excellent practice facility to warm up if you choose to.

The staff are courteous and polite. They appreciate your patronage. My Thursday senior traveling league to plays there every year.

Not much for reviews but after my round today I feel compelled.. I used to think this course was completely overrated... Today that has changed. The course is in phenomenal shape.. Staff is great and I can't be happier with the course this season.. In fact I'm playing there again today and tomorrow as well... Perfect condition.

The course is well maintained. Challenging layout, very fast greens. Not much water to contend with, but you still have to strategically place your shots. Played this 2 years ago and a lot of the fairways were soggy, which was the same this time. It must be low ground, but we worked around it. Wouldn't deter me from coming back. Fair amount of bunkering, but bunkers are well maintained. Staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend.
