have been playing huntmore gc for over 10 years and each time it gets better. Wuz, the starter, cook, gretter and all around great guy makes you feel at home each time you arrive and leave. He know what we need, tee times and has it done for the next week before we even tee off. he is a big reason why we keep coming back. and tyhe course is always in great shape whether you play from the tips or the whites, its a challenge. its hard to find a better expierence in SE michigan

The staff was friendly and the course was beautiful. It had rained heavily for a week before we played but the course was still in good shape. Not much standing water. Challenging but not unfair. Driving range looked to be very nice, although I didn't use it.
I would definitely recommend this course and will play it again.

Front is tougher than the back. We have played this course since it opened as Golf of Michigan. Course and amenities have significantly improved. We really like playing here.

I have played here several times and really like the course, however this past weekend it played very slow and no rangers on the course. Because of rain the day before several holes were cart path only and didn't drain well and all the greens were not well maintained. Prices should be lowered under the circumstances

Beautiful course, you get an up north feeling throughout the course. Only 2 holes are side by side otherwise your driving through woods etc to get to next tee. Looking forward to next Friday to play again

The course fairways were really nice. I wish I could say the same for the greens. Way to much sand on the greens. When you hit a put you could see sand build up on the ball as it rolled to the hole.

Started early but humidity was tropical. Watered heavy so some areas were real wet. Also greens had been top dressed so wet sand and putting don't mix. Lots of 3 putts. Paired up with gentlemen who played week before and said greens were much better.

I think that all of us golfers want

and a challenging course that's nicely

Facility's are very nice, Onboard GPS on your Cart that gives you distance Front, middle & back of the green
Don't expect a full menu restaurant, there food service is probably the only thing lacking....all your gonna choose is a Hot Dog, Bratwurst, Turkey or Ham Wrap....and snack items (Chips & Candy) that's it.......so bring your lunch if you need something else
Putting is great with greens in very good condition.....not a lot of water hazard and bunkers are well maintained
They do not complain if you bring a cooler, as long as no Alcohol is in it!
Go play Huntmore!....you'll Love it

Nice Practice Facility, GPS onboard your Cart....constantly updating yardage
Front, Middle & Back of Green.....I play from Whites as a Intermediate player
but if you like to play from the tips, it could be a very Challenging course!

Food Service is Lacking, don't plan on anything more than a Hot Dog, Bratwurst
Turkey or Ham wrap ( Wraps are $8.00 each)
so if you like more than these items, I would bring your lunch with

I have played this course many times in the past, we stopped playing this course due to rude staff 2yrs ago. I will say that the staff was friendly this time, and no issues during the round with pace of play.

As far as the course it has a great lay out and is chellenging to say the least. Greens are not bad and very fast, I would recommend this course and will be back again.

Very Nice course overall. Warmup range included a bunker area to practice those shots for those so inclined.Starter kept things rolling right on schedule so play for a Saturday was slightly better than the recommended time, Greens seemed to be pretty scarred...mostly from those who can't seem to properly repair their ballmarks bit the greens seemed quick and rolled true..would play again and hope to again yet this season

I love this course, it is absolutely beautiful right now. The greens are starting to come into great shape, since they had a hard time recovering from this past winter. The green complexes, fairways, tees and overall quality is one of the best in the Brighton area. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I booked the course at a great golfnow price. We called the course the night before our 803a tee time and asked if we could tee off earlier as a 2some. The lady at the desk asked the starter, and we were set for 0745 tee off. We only had a two some in front of us the first 9, so we played fast. The course very good shape, and it appears that do a lot of watering. The greens are cut short, and very fast with a lot of roll. The greens are very true. When we made the turn, play slowed down a bit. The course put out a 4 some on the back 9, and we all know the story from here. Overall it was a wonderful day of golf. We finished in 3.5 hrs which is acceptable. Lots of water carry on course, but very fair. I heard senior rates are very good here also. We will return here again. I do wish the course would put sand bottles on the carts and tees of the par 3's to help with digits left everywhere. Carts have GPS also.

Huntmore is well maintained from tee to green but the greens were damaged with un-repaired ball marks. However the greens rolled true and were extremely fast. Probably the fastest greens on a public course that I have ever played. Nice weather and a good lay-out made the experience worth the 20+ mile drive.

Not a LOT of trouble but enough to be interesting. Very good greens

course was very nice but for some reason they watered way too much leaving puddles on many fairways. the greens were opposite dry, hard and fast.

They left the sprinklers on all day! We started around 7:45am and figured they'd shut them off around 10am-ish. But that was not the case, every FAIRWAY and GREEN was completely drenched, I'm talking your getting splashed every swing you take. The course layout was nice and so was the staff. Poor course maintenance. Greens were not well maintained divots all over the place. At $28 I guess you get what you pay for.
