Teeing off with my resort in the backround Photo submitted by u912007132 on 05/31/2019
Entertaining
Course is rather flat and not much trouble that comes into play. Plays long for seniors. Terrific greens.
Nice course
The course is in good condition. Water and bunkers make it interesting and a bit challenging. We will be going back.
Course club house staff and marshal's very friendly.
Tee Time and Pace
Our tee time was for 1:15 PM. We were not able to tee off until 2:15 PM!!!!!! Course was way overbooked. Worst experience for that in my life!
Great course, but Marshall’s needed to keep play under 4.5 hours
Course and staff was great, but slow play ahead of us detracted from what was otherwise at great day, as it took 5 hours to complete our round. Course marshal only appeared once we got to the 18th tee, by then it was too late.
Myrtle classic
One of the first courses I played in Myrtle. Frankly, has changed very little, but in many ways that is a good thing. The layout is fairly unremarkable except for the fish hook par 5. That hole will have your group arguing over beers whether it is a classic or simply silly. Beachwood has always had excellent fairways and smooth-rolling greens. One of the best 'bang for the buck' courses on the strand. Don't expect the full resort treatme. Just expect helpful and experienced staff and a fun golf experience
Classic
Not a typical Myrtle Beach Resort course. But, it is always in great shape with green and lush fairways and smooth and well-kept greens. Great warm-up course or second round track. "Fish-hook" par 5 is one of the most unusual holes on the strand. Generally though, the course is "right in front of you" and challenging enough to be played multiple times
Great staff and very friendly patrons
Greens get a 5, coarse get a 3, layout get a 5. Lots of work being done and that’s great to see.
Close to condos
This is an easy course to play. the layout is good .Needs ,more work on fairways and greens.
Good shape
Course is in good shape. Four hour round. Friendly staff.
Decent course, would play again
Staff was great, greens were VERY nice. Fairways thin in some spots but it is early in the season
good place to play
beachwood is not the greatest in Myrtle Beach area but it is very playable. greens were very nice, some rough spots but can be expected early in April. staff was very nice , friendly, helpful. Had a good time playing here..
