Eagle Nest Golf Club
Located in Little River, S.C., Eagle Nest opened in 1971 and was designed by Golf Course Architect Gene Hamm. The layout is laid out across 250 acres of gently rolling land, rare for a course near Myrtle Beach. The course has been upgraded recently and includes a set of "Perch" tee boxes that play over 8,100 yards, making it the state's longest golf course.
Super senior and player-friendly tee boxes up front have also been installed. This traditional low country layout features not only rolling undulations in it but mature Carolina pines, an abundance of wildlife and beautiful natural landscaping.

Pace of play good course not bad but won’t go back unless I can’t get tee time somewhere else. I am not picky about where I play but greens are most important to me Greens look nice but roll far too slow. If greens were faster I would have enjoyed my round
A good round
Excellent greens, nice course layout, fairways in great shape, will definitely play again.
Golf was good, course was good; but all the goose crap was offensive. Need to bring dogs in to discourage geese from crapping around. Send them back to Canada!
I am an 18 handicap and played here with my wife who is a novice.
The course is quite women friendly apart from 2or3 holes
Tee to tee the course is in nice condition and very pleasant to play with wide fairways
I will definitely come and play here again and highly recommend it
The only negative was the condition of the cart paths. Everything else was fantastic. Pace of play was fast. Course conditions were very good.
Enjoyed the round and course
Greens were a little slow but very true. Course was challenging but with generous fairways, and if you strayed, most balls were at least findable and playable. Weather was cool but sunny. Joined up with 2 locals who were great to play with. Would definitely play here again.
This course was really fun to play. The layout was great. Conditions were ok...the greens were long and slow and fairways were hairy. BUT would play again for sure. Incredible for your money.
Tee boxes and greens need grass cut , way too shaggy

Solid for the money, but everyone seems to know it
Greens too slow. Fairways good. Nothing breathtaking or difficult, but a solid course to hack around on.
Worst round ever. First and last time here. Waited between 7-10 each hole just to tee up. Back nine had up to 5 groups on each hole. No marshall monitoring pace of play. Finally left after 16 and passed 12 carts on the way out.
Hello. Thank you for reviewing the course. We sincerely apologize for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and to best control pace allowing everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve, and we are glad to see you rated the course conditions to be great during your game. Thank you for playing Eagle Nest Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
This is a very challenging course for beginner or high handicap. The advertise the toughest closing holes on the grand strand, skeptical at first then when played had to agree. Fairly open fairways, not extreme rough, but not in fairway on most holes looking at vogue or higher. Overall have enjoyed playing this course many times.
Made to feel welcome
Reception at the course was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Not many on the course as2” of rain the day before. Cart path only. Straightforward layout. No tricks. Average difficulty until the green. Many flags on humps which made putting tricky Back 9 play very slow as we caught up to groups who were slow and would not let us through.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
