Solid traditional course

Ample room to hit it. Challenging green complexes. Champions Bermuda greens have plenty of speed to get and keep your attention, especially from above the hole! Probably the best greens on the Strand on a day to day basis. (Don't overseed in winter if being green is important. Greens actually get even better!)
Most rounds under 3:50, which is great for MB!
Just a solid, all sound golf course.

Semi private course in great shape

A George Cobb designed course The Surf Club is one of the oldest courses on the Grand Strand. Cobb also designed Quail Hollow, Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head and the 9 hole par 3 at Augusta. The course is always in very good condition. They are primarily a members club but do allow limited outside play. It is one of the few area courses featuring bent grass greens. The clubhouse is undergoing a million dollar renovation which should be done in August of '16. You probably will play in under 4 hours and can enjoy a cocktail on the outside covered patio overlooking the course and lakes. Enjoy a private club experience.
