Top course at the price rate
For $60-$70 (including a cart) it’s tough to beat this course. The views are outstanding, the course is in pretty good shape. Short course but challenging in its own unique way. No driving range and not really a practice green to warm up, but other than that it’s a great course.
Pace of play and Tee Box
Took almost 5 hrs to finish for me. We were held up by a groups of 12 who were all playing together. The duo I was paired with left after the 10th hole. Marshall did stepped in and tell them to pick up the pace, but end still have to wait that the duo behind me caught up . The white tee box are super beat up for a lot of holes. Specific to when I played, the back 9 has alot of wasps around the white tee so that was fun. This is a tough course for those who like a challenge with a lot of elevation changes. You will be punish not being on the fairway or slice on your driver. Green and fairway were in good condition. The draft beer at the brewery was dope tho.
golf
excelente lugar para tener un buen dia con amigos muy bonito campo de golf y también muy buena cerveza y comida
Target golf, tough back 9
This was a great course and we were done in under four hours! The staff was amazing, as I forgot my range finder in the cart and they called me within 20 minutes.
The carts are fresh with GPS built in.
Excellent Course conditions.
Stay out of the weeds trying to find a ball, we had two ticks on us.
Great day out!
Fun but needs upkeep
I like the large amount of variety and shots. You you use a lot of your irons. However, it’s too easy to lose the ball after the sides due to the numerous holes in the ground from animals extreme hard pan, dry grass, shrubs and other jun collected along the fences. Great beer though with excellent prices..
Allowed 8 people to play together.
62$ for bad greens that have dead brown patches . Sand is bad and pretty much just dirt. The value is not worth it . Go elseware
Solid
Course Layout was nice, some nice views. The course conditions had some rough patches, on the fairways and greens. But overall a solid and challenging course to play.
Poor Condition
Tee boxes were sloped and grass was subpar. Fairways were bare in many, many areas. Bunkers were inconsistent. Greens weren't bad.
Great course and value for the money, don't be a snob.
Wonderful folks who run this place. I booked here on a whim because it was the earliest time I could get when I was travelling.
Gary, at the pro shop was incredibly friendly and said people had been complaining about the quality of greens, and wanted my (an out of towner) feedback after my round if I could come in for a few minutes.
I made a mental note to take notes of the course as I played it. First time playing in California as well.
- The fairways were in decent shape. Sure, there were some issues with them but thats mostly due to the ground condition and the environment the course is in, not much the crew can do about that.
- The areas outside the fairway were in poor shape, mostly mud/dirt but again, this is due to the area the course is in, not the fault of the course.
- Gary mentioned people had been complaining about the greens. I made a mental note of this. The only green that had any issues was 15. As the course dried up after the morning due, the greens rolled pretty true. Sure, a few bumps here and there due to it being a public course, wet, and people not properly fixing divots, but come on.
I had a great time. The course has some really cool holes, and was very scenic. No driving range, and a small putting area, but for the price I had a wonderful morning playing here.
