Red Hawk Run Golf Course

Sand traps were in poor condition. Greens were rough. Played the first nine in 1-1/2 hours, but waited 15 minutes to make the turn because a number of groups were allowed to start on the back nine. Waited at every tee box and back nine took nearly three hours.

Links course is challenging but easier that it was a few years ago. Tees for every level of golfer. Good shape, friendly staff, a real nice layout.

great weather.,course was in excellent shape, and played 18 holes in less than 3 1/2 hours....of course you should plan on losing at least one sleeve of balls somewhere on this course...challenging but fair...

This is one of the best courses in the area. Plays long and has a lot of sand, so many holes can get you in trouble if your not careful.

The only negative was, the emergency 9 was $10. But the course is a challenge and a good deal if booked thru Golf Now.

Red Hawk is a beautiful course, we had a great time!

Played this course a couple of years ago, and found much improvement. Overall, good condition, but bunkers are a sore point. Tee boxes good. Fairways good. Greens good. Stay close to fairway or forget it. Challenging track. Played from whites and some holes are still a distance. Would play again. kind of pricey if you're nor using Golfnow. So use Golfnow and enjoy.

Very nice course, challenging,well taken care of,and a good test of golf. Worth the trip to play again.

Course was in great condition and pace of play was good. Greens were very nice as well as tees. Sand traps could use some work but its probably hard to keep up with the number of traps they have.
The staff inside was not the friendliest. The gentleman at the register was not very pleasant to deal with and not personable. I woukd not want him to be the first impression of my establishment.

The Staff at Red Hawk has done an incredible job on the course this year. I have played it 3 times through out the season and each time it has been in the best shape I have seen it in years! They have brought the course back to the condition that it was in the first couple of years that they were open! With the five sets of tees it can be played by golfers of all skill levels to be enjoyed as a day on a great looking course or stretched out from the tips to be a serious challenge for the skilled golfer.

What an up and coming GREAT course. we got to meet the new owner who was out riding on a golf cart and he was very nice and explained a few things to us to show the new direction of the course and what he has done already which helped to explain a few defects but all in all very fun and challenging- can't wait to see what this course will be like next year with the new owner but I am sure it will be outstanding and the fairways are just immaculate!!

Played for the first there yesterday afternoon. Course was in great shape, greens are true and the course challenging. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back this year.

Good Value as it is a good course and well maintianed but little bit of a drive

Another great Arthur Hills track that unfortunately needs work. The greens are great but tee boxes are some of the most uneven I have seen. Bunkers were in need of some maintenance and fairways were full of unrepaired divots. Potential is there. Could be a great course and value. One caveat to this review is the course had just dried out after extreme rains.

Red Hawk Run was an excellent venue and very challenging. I had the opportunity to play the Course two years ago and it was an adventure to return. The Course was in excellent shape, the green were fabulous and the rough was a challenge. Red Hawk Run is without a doubt the closest I will come to playing a links course in this area. A great value, challenge and beautiful setting. I would recommend it to anyone travelling into the area or looking for a links course with a European flavor. To truly appreciate the course and the staff, you must visit Red Hawk Run. It's GREAT!

The course needs some work on fairways some bare spots but greens were great and fast. The pace of play was average we did bunch up around hole #8 but the players in front stopped to eat and drink so we jumped around to the back. The back 9 is a little confusing to follow

Always wanted to play here. It was a real windy day which made it less than ideal to play for the 1st time. The fairways had recently been plugged so they were less than ideal also. But I enjoyed the layout. It was definately challenging, with the wind and all. Would like to play again in late Summer. We were in the rough quite a bit so our pace of play wasn't up to par but few people were playing due to wind.
