Park Hill Golf Club
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for the 2019 and 2020 season.
The golf course at Park Hill Golf Club is a regulation length 18-hole course that is open to the public. It is 7,268 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. Clark Hamilton designed the course that opened in 1931. The course is relatively flat and features many bunkers. In later renovations to the course, over one hundred trees were planted to liven and enrich the landscape. A lake provides water hazards that come into play on two of Park Hill Golf Club's holes. The well-kept course is good for beginners or for any level of golfer who is looking to get some good practice.

Unplayable
This course was in terrible condition, we couldn’t even make it to 9 holes. Greens were unplayable and everything was covered in geese poop. I do not recommend this course and will not be returning. The staff was very friendly, however.
Also, there was a very strange very disturbing man on the putting green that was screaming and yelling at himself. This made for a tense environment from the start as the practice green is right next to hole #1 tee
In my opinion this course overall is average it seems during the winter months there are two holes cut in each green so when you putt out to the hole you stick the flag in the other hole for the following group. This concept I like but if you leave the holes in those two places for a long time you get a 4 foot radius around the hole that is compacted down more than the rest of the green. Therefore, most of the green is one speed and that 4 foot circle around the cup is very fast. Plus the course is very open lending to being very hard to judge the distance to the flag without a range finder. The staff was friendly.
Park Hill GC
First time playing this course. I like the course and look forward to playing it again this year. Greens were in good shape. Pace of play was a little over 4 hours for 3 players so that was good.
Another backed up day
I love the courses layout and that is kept pretty well but it is backed up ridiculously this last time there was a group of five people in front of me and another two groups of four each in front of them. There has to be a better way to schedule in players
Nice layout
I had an awesome time playing the wide open course. Very nicely layed out
Nice Muni
The course was in good shape for the time of year. Staff very cooperative. Fairly open course, not very many trees.
It’s not being sold, so try a lottle
The greens are in rough shape. The putting area is a very sad replica of most holes. The staff and starter were more interested in pairing strangers together than enforcing pace of play.
Enjoyable course, could use a bit of work
Park Hill, The course is typical muni layout, lots of space, on most holes you can hit it almost anywhere still find it and have a shot. Played on a Saturday in November so you do not expect the course to be in great shape, so some of the greens were a bit bumpy. I was surprised at the shape some of the bunkers were in, lots of footprints, I don't think they have seen a rake in awhile except for what I raked after my shots. Staff was friendly, round enjoyable. All in all, watch for a deal, go play and enjoy yourself.
Good course overall
Good practice course around town shot a 69 on my first time playing there can't complain
Park hill midweek
Course was in good shape, some greens needed water. Pace of play was great. Did not see the beverage cart at all. Sand buckets on carts were not full, how can I fill divots (bad)
Love this course needs a little PR
Really not a great course and by all means don't go on a weekend
I started playing actively again in 2011 and this course was the first time I got a 79 as I kept practicing and improving. I was VERY excited to play here again to see how it has become and in general, this place is disappointing. Simple, packed, noisy, overbooked events all at the same time and I had 2 nice people I was with which saved the day but, I came back, I played fine but I am done with this course, better options out there
Staff rude.
I need to clarify that only one guy has been rude and he worked at the range. He was not helpful At all and he was rude and dissrespectful from the minute he opened his mouth. Pretty much called me a liar and treated me like he was better than me.
On its way out
I love Park Hill, but I fear this course's days are numbered. Broken ball washers, unkempt bunkers and skeleton staff pretty much everywhere. This big piece of property is prime real estate, but the golf course is badly neglected. I can't see it lasting much longer. JH
