The Beez. What a player. Photo submitted by Opiebowen on 07/15/2013
Very Nice Course / Club House is a Duh.
It’s been a year since I played Ashton Hills. Course is in very nice shape with exception of a few tee boxes that are sanded for regrowth. The fairways and greens are very nice. Played RTJ Grand National a week prior then came home & played AH. AH is an 8 when comparing to RTJ course (11).
The club house personnel is an another story. My group didn’t get the feel that the club house personnel wanted to be there or they wanted my group there. It was a duh moment. Even when we drove up to drop off bags, the gentlemen manning the carts just looked at us. Like dang…. Again this is a comparison after just playing RTJ.
Look forward to playing the track again. Hope the club house personnel is a little better.
Always enjoy playing here
We’ve played 13 courses this year & AH is a top 3 public course we play in the metro area. AH, Chimneys & Chicopee Woods are our top 3. AH has the best & most often affordable GN tee time. Fairways, greens in good to great shape, most tee boxes were good. A lot of courses’ tee boxes are struggling. Pace of play good on a Friday. We are seniors play from white tees but move up on 2-3 holes. Prefer par 4s max out at +/- 360 yds. Recommend & will play again.
Slow!!
Slow to a halt at times . It’s a really enjoyable track but it’s always a little slow but the last round was the worst I may have ever experienced. 3 guys with no one in front of them would not let a twosome through. Spent most of their time hunting golf balls . If golf courses really want to do something to help business get these kind of people to let play through. And actually have someone checking on such things and be less worried about cart path only
Fathers Day
Great day on the course which is a great Fathers Day celebration with my son, brother and a great friend. Greens are spectacular and course is in very good shape.
Beautiful and Challenging, Great Staff
I’m so glad I live within 5 miles of this amazing golf course! I have just started playing golf again after a long 15 year hiatus, and this course is absolutely amazing and definitely challenging. Overall, the amenities and the staff are extremely nice and very accommodating. One last thing, the food is amazing!!!!
Always Great at Ashton Hills
I have not played AH in a year.
You will never go wrong playing AH. The staff is always friendly and very professional. The food at clubhouse is great!!
Greens roll very true. Golfers fix their ball marks, yep they do!!
Tee boxes and fairways in great condition.
The only reason I don’t play this course more is because it’s a nice distance from my home or I would definitely be a member.
Can’t go wrong at Ashton Hills!!
Always Great!
Beautiful, challenging course. Always in great shape. Greens are in great shape.
Grandads on tour
4 senior golfers from UK we have played Ashton twice and thoroughly enjoyed both rounds. The course is in great condition and even though the greens had been spiked they were still fast and true. The staff were helpful and friendly highly recommend to any level of golfer
Tee,Pete,Charles, Matt The course is our favorite all we can say the Greens makes that course they were very fast and tight we all got alligator arms from time tootime while putting on the greens we had only one complaint the Marshall needs to be a little more stern on slow plaay it had a group that was holding the course up and we talk to him and he said he spoked to them 3 times and they kept hitting several balls anyway but other than that Its one of the best course in our opinion in Georgia for the price and how well its maintain and I don't think any course in a 50 mile radius has greens that fast
Amazing course
This is my home course and I’m here about 3-4 days a week. The driving range is pretty good but I wish there was a better area to practice chipping. This course is challenging and doesn’t get old at all.
