Good value
Course is in very fine overall shape! Especially for the price!
Great course, Not for beginners
Very nice course. We really enjoyed our round. I say it’s not for beginners because Ashton Hills makes pace of play a priority (which is nice & pace of play IS important) but if you’re new to golf you may want to try a course where the carts aren’t equipped with slow play alarms. I too am a newbie but I know when it’s time to pick up and move on. Nice course and friendly staff though.
Very nice course!
I would say Ashton hills is one of the nicest courses around! The staff is great and the bar and grill are top notch! Once I can be a member somewhere this will be the place!!
Great time at Ashton Hills!
Course was in great shape and can’t wait to go back.
Quality golf experience
One of the better courses in the area. Clubhouse and restaurant are very nice with good service. Beverage cart comes multiple times during the round. Layout is fun with some great par 3s. A lot of elevation changes in the fairways which can be difficult on cart-path only holes. Driving range tee area needs some rest as it is mostly dirt.
Good Track
Course was in pretty good shape, and the greens were nice a quick. Will definitely be back!
Course was in excellent condition
Course was in great condition, fairways were pristine and greens rolling true and fast. First time playing the course and will definitely play it again
Overall Great Course for the Area
I live out in Conyers and in all honesty, there is only two courses in the area worth playing and this is one of them. They maintain their course very well for the most part. It’s not an elite golf resort or club by any means, but it’s a great local course that is my go to in the area for both price and quality. If you are out here and trying to choose a course; I highly recommend this one
Best bang for your money near Atlanta
Greens, fairways and rough were all in great shape. Lots of landscapers fixing course up after rough storms night before and course wasn’t muddy or wet at 10am.
Rude Staff
Staff made a comment upon arrival about us having a hot deal and we’re rude rest of the day about it. Staff followed us around and was on the green with us on more than half the holes. Course was mediocre, but staff acts like it’s Augusta, and are beyond rude. Won’t be back, nor would I recommend it.
Really nice course
Plenty of elevation changes, greens were very good, and it’s an aesthetically pleasing course. Would quickly play again when visiting the area.
Good track
Greens perfect. The course was wet due to the recent rain. Cart path only. The drink cart came by several times. Ashton Hills is a good solid place to play. 18 is a little funky.
Very Nice Course / Club House is a Duh.
It’s been a year since I played Ashton Hills. Course is in very nice shape with exception of a few tee boxes that are sanded for regrowth. The fairways and greens are very nice. Played RTJ Grand National a week prior then came home & played AH. AH is an 8 when comparing to RTJ course (11).
The club house personnel is an another story. My group didn’t get the feel that the club house personnel wanted to be there or they wanted my group there. It was a duh moment. Even when we drove up to drop off bags, the gentlemen manning the carts just looked at us. Like dang…. Again this is a comparison after just playing RTJ.
Look forward to playing the track again. Hope the club house personnel is a little better.
Always enjoy playing here
We’ve played 13 courses this year & AH is a top 3 public course we play in the metro area. AH, Chimneys & Chicopee Woods are our top 3. AH has the best & most often affordable GN tee time. Fairways, greens in good to great shape, most tee boxes were good. A lot of courses’ tee boxes are struggling. Pace of play good on a Friday. We are seniors play from white tees but move up on 2-3 holes. Prefer par 4s max out at +/- 360 yds. Recommend & will play again.
