Great round of golf at harbor Links
The course was in immaculate condition. the greens were fast and true. Everything about the course was good. Friendly staff and good food at the turn. Would recommend this course if you're in the area.
Harbor Links
We were allowed to go off before our tee time which proved to be a blessing. The group immediately behind us went off as a 5 some either on their own or allowed by the pro shop. We played 3 holes and then caught a 4 some of pretty bad players, who were gracious enough to let us go through. Long story short, as we were on the 18th green, the 4 some was in 10 fairway and the 5 some was standing on 10 tee box, poetic justice I guess. I absolutely go ballistic when I see 5 somes on a golf course, unless its the dead of winter or raining or no one else is playing. The course was well maintained, greens were excellent, but some of the hole designs were horrible. A fair amount of elevated greens and blind shots. One thing that also irritated me was that our Garmin couldn't identify the the course name as it currently is and reverted back to a name that was used a few years back, and even then the yardage distances were incorrect. You'd have to play it more than once to get a feel for the layout and shot positioning.
Truly a hidden gem !!!!
Harbor links is extremely challenging and a ton of fun. Pristine conditions all around. Course rolls through hills, valleys, and Brookville Lake. Greens are quick true, and curvy . Cart paths are mostly sand, and gravel, but we don't play on cart paths. This is my new go to course ! Harbor and restuarant next to course makes up for the no frills club house.
awesome
I've been playing there since the course opened and I've never seen it in as good of shape as it is now. Awesome course with awesome views
Solid
Great track. You'll use every club in your bag. Course knowledge is huge especially when it comes to the greens. Lots of undulations, ways to funnel it to the pins. Good test of golf especially from the tips. Will make my way out there more often.
This course has a lot of character
Although it was a 50 minute drive it was worth the time . Great scenic views great rolling greens.
a place to play!!!!
it`s a pete dye course!!! fairways in great shape, greens in great shape!
Well worth the drive!
I played this course for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it! Great challenge, great condition, fast greens, and a 3.5 hour round (Weekdays don't seem too busy out there). I'll definitely be back!
Needs Work
I guess I was expecting more. I had heard good things about this course, but was disappointed in the clubhouse (trailer), in the cart paths, dirt and some stone, the fairways, soaking wet with lots of bare spots, the ruff with lots of weeds and the view from most of the holes. There were a couple of nice holes on the back 9 but overall, very disappointing.
Course was very challenging, very tough greens
greens had a lot of break, and were fast. liked how open the course was for a miss hit shot.
Best Deal This Season
I have logged at least 50 rounds of tee times via Golf Now, sometimes traveling over 3 hours, and this course is definitely in my top 5 of all time. Great layout, spectacular scenery, and well maintained. The greens have more break than you think and are usually guarded by a bunker or water. The ONLY "complaint" I have is I wish they had a set of tees between Blue and Golds. Blues card around 6400 and Golds card around 7000, and I prefer to play between 6700 and 6800 yards.
Great views of Brookville Lake.
Beautiful course. Greens very difficult but still fun to play.
Another BEAUTIFUL Pete Dye design that sits right next to Brookville Lake.
An absolute hidden gem!!! You get it all with this Pete Dye design and with Brookville Lake as a backdrop on several holes, it is a truly stunning course. I live in Indianapolis and it was a little over an hours drive, but was totally worth it. My only concern, where are all the golfers?!? Our tee time was at 1:30 on a beautiful, sunny day and I think we were the only people on the course! We were able to get a GN special for $15, so the value for the money is unbeatable. If you're looking for a place to eat and drink after the round, there is a really neat restaurant on the lake less than a mile away! I totally recommend this course and can't wait to come back...
Awesome course!!!!!
Absolutely enjoyed the course played it about 12 years ago and it's in awesome shape now. Has some very challenging holes, love it.
A great place to test your golf skills
I have played Harbor Links once or twice a year for the last six years. The course has never been in better condition. This course can be as challenging as any golfer wants from the back tees or it can be a great recreational round from the front tees. There is an abundance of wildlife, wildflowers and great scenery to enjoy. This is the best kept secret in the area. More people should take advantage of a great day of golf.
Best greens around!
Course was in amazing shape for all of the rain we had got this week. Green held all shots but were still smooth and quick. Some of the most beautiful holes in the Tri-state area for sure. Many holes next to Brookvill lake.
Course sits next to a lake.
I have played this course 5 times and will keep coming back. Great value for the money as the course has rolling terrain, winding stream, water shots and many elevation changes.
Hidden Gem
Just an absolute great course! The drive out wasn't easy or straight, we made it from Cincinnati in about an hour.
But once on the course it was beautiful. Well maintained and great course layout, some very difficult approach shots make for a fun day.
The course is in great shape and very well designed.
This golf course is in great shape and has variety in its tees and hole design. It is on Brookville Lake. Some holes require accurate shot placement off the tee. The course management have worked hard to restore this course, nice job.
Would definitely go again
Course was in good shape, holes are unique and different with great views and the staff was very friendly.
Played the course today. Thought it was great. Didn't go there looking for nice cart paths or a great club house. But if you are looking for a challenging course in very good shape and great scenery, this is the place. Can't wait it go back when the leaves are changing.
