1st time, not last time
Beautiful day, tough golf course. It was in very good shape, rolling greens. First time at the course in years, will go back.
Harbor Links
Loved this course. Most scenic in the whole area Played in mid week afternoon and pace of play was great. Greens were fast and challenging. Cart paths were dirt and gravel but loved everything else. Truly enjoyable day of golf.
Nothing else like it in this region!
I believe this was the fourth time I've played here in the last decade, and each time the impression becomes more reinforced -- this is a singular golf experience in the Tri-state area of Greater Cincinnati, and a strong contender for best public course overall. Playing a course where such a large body of water influences play just can't be found anywhere else here. It's both strategic and beautiful (even though we played, at times, in a squall with gale-force winds!) The kicker is that the greens are as challenging as any course I've played in a long time, and that includes a number of larger name resort experiences where we've played. They were immaculate, fast and full of subtle breaks. You had to truly earn every good score you had for the day!
wednesday golf
Course in great condition, greens held, fairways nice. A tough course, scenic, with a couple holes needing a directional marker, and playing the course a couple times. Nice view of the lake. Greens faster than most in Cincinnati, rolled true. Later in the year so not crowded and were able to set our own pace of play, which was about 4 hours. Just a very nice course and a nice fall day. One of my favorites. Any snacks or food is somewhat limited. Pro shop has shirts and the necessary items that one might have forgotten.
Favorite course in the Tri-State area
Ever since I first played this course when it was named Buck Point I have enjoyed this course the scenery is beautiful and the course is very challenging. I only wish it wasn't so far from home.
Great outing
Loved this jewel on Brookville Lake. Beautiful and challanging. 1st timers will need to guess at a few landing areas. A missed fairway might mean a lost ball (or lengthy search). Greens much faster than what we are accustomed to. Thurs. was youth discount day and there were 8 young adults playing in one group. They were pretty boisterous and had music playing on a cart but let people play through quick enough. No real problem for us as we recalled our younger days. Will definitely return, hopefully before Oct. 22 when they close for the season.
Challenging Course
We drove about an hour from Cincinnati and We really enjoyed the course.
Amazing views
This was in excellent condition. The course was in great shape and the views are amazing
Beautiful course with lake background
I'm looking forward to playing this course again. A few blind tee shots but with one round in the bag, I won't make the mistake of driving the ball wide right when there was actually a dog leg left. Drive the ball straight and you should score well. A couple of risk reward holes. The greens were fast and true and it seems people actually repair their ball marks. Nice scenery with the lake highlighting some holes.
Wonderful course
Beautiful course and well worth the drive. Many holes have the Brookville lake as a backdrop. This course has everything you want in a golf course. Every hole is unique and challenging. The par 5's are especially challeniging.
Harbor Links
It was worth the long drive. My companions had not played there before but found it a scenic course and fun to play though some holes are difficult.
Additional charge at course
Arrived at course and was told by the counter guy I would have to pay an additional 10 dollars if my threesome wanted to play by ourselves as another person had grabbed the 4th slot. I went ahead and payed the 10 bucks but thought this was uncalled for.Played there the week before without this charge..Once a price is quoted on GOLFNOW and it
says no additional charges at course..That should hold up...Sorry not happy was this....
challenging course, play the right tees to make it fun.
Great course, good scenery, greens are fast so beware.
Nice, but...
The staff seems less than friendly. There is one woman there who is nice, but the rest of the staff, not so much. The course is beautiful. We were stuck behind two 6somes. Yes. 6 people golfing at one time. I understand you may have a small outing but that is unacceptable on any course. If you play on a day where ridiculousness isn't happening, you can enjoy yourself.
Paired up with the slowest players of all time
We were a twosome and were paired up with another group for what the pro told us was "pace of play" reasons. It took us 1.5 hours to play 4 holes. 3 groups played through while the two we were paired up with searched for a maxfli for 40 mins. We were trying to be polite and tell the guys we couldn't be out there all day but they didn't care. We quit after the 12th hole. We were 4 hours and 15 mins into the round.
The course was in awesome shape but this was beyond aggravating and would have loved to play the last 6 holes.
Always challenging to play
Had a 2:10 tee time on Tuesday afternoon, play at that time was light, wife rode along ( $ 10.70 fee ). Course, both fairways and greens in great condition. Greens fast enough but not lightning, fairways gave you some cushion. Very scenic golf course, with holes viewing the lake. This is one of my favorite courses, and the excellent condition makes me want to drive 1:10 to play there. 4 tee boxes for you liking . Snack bar in pro shop, no restaurant on site, nice deck to relax after your round. Putting green and driving range.
Favorite course in the Tri-State area
I love this course even if you are not playing that well that day the scenery will lift your spirits. The course is extremely challenging and you need to play it a few times just to learn where to hit it and of course where not to.
Great course with a great view!
I have played this course numerous times and it never gets old. This is one of my favorite tracks. The course conditions are typically good to great! If you haven't played this course yet, you are missing out!
