Excellent course, enjoyed the game here.
We enjoyed the course. They did great job.
Highly recommend.
pace of play
Don't know if the course were a holes and put 2 4 somes of ladies on the 10th tee as we were coming around or if they went inside, sat and ate lunch at the turn. We were stuck behind a slower 4 some, and with cart path only, that is to be expected. We passed them after the 4th hole and it was smooth sailing. So as we made the turn was SHOCKED to see the 2 extra groups. 1 player left. We jumped 2 holes hoping to play the missed two but it was not to be. On the 17th green I noticed the first group we passed on hole 11. I hope the course didn't stick 2 groups in front of us, but if not, they have to control people from screwing up the pace of place.
Slowwww
Took us just short of 3hours to play the front nine. Fortunately the threesome in front of us quit after 9holes and we finished the back nine in just under two as we did not see another soul on the back nine. Good value and decent layout.
I especially liked the starter system i.e., the loud speaker announces the next 2 starting times AND the names of the players thus avoiding some of the confusion that sometimes exists at the first hole. The only downside to this course for me is that they use the golf cart with a radar/gps control system so that you cannot drive in certain areas and have to put it in reverse to get out. I fully understand the maintenance of the golf course business rationale for buying the technology, but, as someone who respects and obeys the traditional "do not enter" markers, I do not like to pay for and use a machine that tells me what to do and where I can and cannot go particularly, as was the case here several times, when it does not give adequate warning which makes backing out highly problematic - especially when you hit the golf balls where I tend to do. Like being ordered to stay and home, and don't get together with friends and families during the pandemic, as and adult, that should be my choice, not the choice of a preprogrammed machine,.Other than that [Mrs.Lincoln], the course is fine. But even though only a 10 minute ride from my home, I will not be going back,.
