osage national golf 5 star
Excellent, always at the top of the list...thanks for living up to expectations
The course is very well maintained.
The greens and fairways of the Mountain and links courses are exceptionally well maintained. The staff was inviting and friendly. We had a wonderful time.
Great Experience
I've been playing golf for 50 years and I have never felt more welcomed at a course where I was a complete stranger to the staff..,,and I mean EVERYONE made me feel like I was the only golfer that mattered that day. I arrived an hour early for my round that would provide a break during a driving trip from Oklahoma to Boston. I was told I could tee off immediately if I wanted or could hit balls on the range and start on my scheduled time. Since I still needed to get to Illinois that day, I opted to play immediately and got around in 3 hours and 15 minutes. I played the Links and River layouts, that while not long, required very strategic shot making. I used every club in the bag. Rivers had water on just about every hole which increased the challenge. 4 holes parallel the Osage River which features towering cliffs on the opposite bank. Quite beautiful for someone from Oklahoma. Because I finished so quickly, I took a tour of the Mountain course. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK AND PLAY THAT 9! The elevation changes are spectacular. There's a long cart ide straight up an incline between #2 and #3 and it's hard to describe what it takes over the next 5 holes to get back down to the level of the other holes. If you're game is in good shape....don't miss playing the Mountain Course!
Great Courses
First time to play the Links and River courses. They are in excellent condition. The courses are very challenging, but fun to play/
18 at Osage National
These courses were great, we played River then Mountain, one completely different than the other Staff was vey nice, food at bar very good
great day of golf
We showed up about 5 mins late to our tee time, lady at the front desk was very nice and there was no fuss made. We played the Links 9 first. This is the easier of the 2 sets of 9 we played. Nice course, greens were decent. The back 9 was the River course, this was much harder with water on virtually every hole. first hole I hit a little slice that would normally have been in the rough but it rolled into the water so accuracy is key on this hole. We killed a snake on one hole, and on 18 we saw a bald eagle swooping down into a pond trying to catch dinner. For $40 I would definatley play here again. I plan to play the Mountain 9 next time.
Great scenery
Rained the day before causing a cart-path only situation. Very slow play........took 5 hrs. & 15 minutes! Early spring time so greens had recently been areated and sanded.........making putting very challenging. Beautiful location with typical Ozarks rolling hills and water features.
Rain out
Great course. Didn't get to play. Waited for rain to stop. It didn't I'm out $45. For nothing. I've used golf.now 3 years, but i won't use it any more. By the time the rain didn't stop my "hour before tee time" expired.
Beautiful course
Lots of water but not many forced carries, on the mountain course there are a lot of elevation changes.
For the middle of winter the course was in great condition. I can only imagine how it would be in the summer. Every hole was different. The views were great also.
A must Missouri course
Played the river and mountain. Loved the river nine. Was flat and picturesque with welcoming greens. The mountain holes were difficult. Course was in great shape for late fall.
