Nice views
Course is fun to play and has nice views of the surrounding area and Lake LBJ.
Not very good shape...
Greens slow, fairways rock hard 2 feet off all weeds. Not worth the hour drive
Really nice course!
This course is a well manicured, well designed golf course w/ the average amateur in mind. Well laid out, w/ normal traps and hazards that aren't too intimidating.
perfect golf
This course is absolutely perfect. Every tee box was perfect. Every green was perfect. Price for the round was perfect. This is by far the best course for the money in central texas.
Great days
My favorite golf course. I drive from Liberty Hill to play this course. You want be disappointed.
Disappointed
Took my exec s out to show off the course on kingsland. I always call to check conditions. To "great shape." Not great but ok. What was disappointing was not being told that 2 of their really signature holes on the front the tough part 4 just before the usually beautiful over the water par 3 were now shortened to mediocre status due to them selling land for waterfront condos. I would really like to have known that before bringing my golfers there. It was lousy. This course is off our list to play.Really felt lied to by the staff.
Beautiful Course
The course was in really good condition. Looked as if some flooding had damaged parts of 2 holes and 1 was unplayable. Overall beautiful course and nice greens. Will definitely play again
big improvement
aside from the two hole redesign, the course was in excellent condition with good fairways, manageable rough, and WONDERFULL greens. Staff were scarce but helpful. A great improvement over earlier in the summer when there were no fairways and staff didn't seem to care. Well worth playing now!
Perfect greens
This course is nothing fancy but the staff is awesome, the greens are in perfect shape, the t boxes r beautiful. The views from each hole r outstanding. Definitely worth the $36 we paid. Thank u golf now!

I have played this course several times. The course is in good shape and the greens are better than I have ever seen, the rains have helped a lot. Holes 7 bunkers are washed out and 8 has temp green. Golf now rate is higher than comparable courses in the area . I would also play more if they had a golf now twilight offering. Overall good experience. Starter move me ahead
Excellent Course, Great Challenge
I was disappointed in the grass height just off the fairway - too tall. Easy to lose a ball unless you happen to get right over it and that is within 10 feet of the fairway short grass.
Pretty good
After playing vaaler creek and Delaware springs the two previous days, I was relatively disappointed with Legends. The course, while still in overall really good shape, had one par 3 under repair with temporary green and also had areas of greens on other holes that were less than ideal. After playing the other courses, which were in immaculate shape, I had expected more. It didn't help that Legends was more expensive than Vaaler and Delaware but also played Legends on Saturday morning so to be expected. Overall I enjoyed the round but had higher hopes.
Some of the best greens in the area
Course well maintained and beautiful true greens.I think the transition from fairway to rough is a bit penial for a course of everyday play.I do recommend the course and will play again soon.
pleasently surprised
was not sure what to expect, first time to play this course. last reviews were from over a year ago and complained about poor greens. well greens were in very good condition. fairways were green and brown, but in good condition considering this is first of august and no rain since may. two holes are 7 and 8 are going thru change. 7 getting new green location and 8 a par 3 is being completely moved to allow for homes in both cases since this part of course overlooks Colorado river. I will be back.
