Grand Lake Golf Course

The course has great 360 views. Layout is great, only a couple hidden shots (if you hit long) so most of the time can let it loose. I finished 18 mid day in 2 and half hours as a single, not overbooked. Best value golfing around.

I played this course 9 years ago and at the time, it was just recovering from havng to remove all the dead trees and such at the time but it was fun still. at this point, it is perfect. nice course, great conditions, greens were very nice, I expected the 2 fires nearby to be an issue but NO problems at all and you would not know they were happening. The prices here are good vs. the high priced places nearby that are only slightly better. Cool layout, back 9 is a roller coaster and fun so get ready to calculate your slope and distance at 8500 feet.

I'm about a 6.5 handicap. Just played for the first time. Greens were fantastic and a little on the small side, which was important because the course was only 6600 yards from the back tees. Add to that the 8500 foot altitude and the course plays pretty short. Leave your driver in the bag. I only hit my 3 wood on the par 5's and could reach them all in 2. The par 4's were either an iron for position or a 19 degree hybrid. Overall, nice layout and would play again. Such a shame about the wildfires and residual smoke in the area. I know the views would have been spectacular.

I would certainly recommend this course if you’re in the area. It has beautiful mountain views on every hole. The course layout is comfortable with holes facing every direction. There are holes with elevated tees and a few holes where you have to hit up to get to the green. The carts are comfy but are the older gas kind. They are reliable- they just smell a bit. Fun course!

As a Summit County Local who has seen the condition things are in, this course offers way more than what you would get there in 2020. Awesome greens with great speed, green course and not overly busy. If you can deal with driving a little further than summit for a mountain course I would highly recommend.

Really fun course. Great alternative to the glitzy mountain courses. Very laid back vibe. Can be a little slow and the mosquitos can be brutal without bug spray. So fun early in the morning. Mid week Early morning is the best.

The course is in excellent shape. I haven’t played here in several years and it’s great to see the trees growing back. Overall it was a very enjoyable round.

Great course. Staff seems not like it when you book with Hot Deals. I’ve paid full price and used Hot Deals. The staff in the clubhouse seems much nicer when you pay full price.

Elevation changes galore with fantastic views. Some may say it's pricey at $90, however they have a very short season. A must play if you're in the area.
