Great value
Overall very good experience. Course conditions 4.0.
Pace of play excellent, starter got us right off
maybe ten minutes early.
Friendly staff and good course conditions.
Worth the Golfnow hot deal.

Have played this course in the past I was extremely impressed to say the least. Nice layout, friendly and helpful staff. Something has happened to the course- no water !!! Other than the greens the tract was very brown. The tee boxes were in shambles. Come on now- lets get this course back to the shape it once was.
Thanks for your well wishes because those showers came and they greened us up nicely. Our rain deficit over the last year is pretty substantial out here at the Club, even with the Hurricane. We water nightly, but mother nature simply needs to help sometimes. Thanks for mentioning the fantastic greens! See you soon...
Hidden Gem
This is one of the best course on the Space Coast, hope they keep it up

Fair price, challenging layout
I've been playing this course for 20+ years and since Integrity Golf took it over is has gone down hill. The greens are in great shape and putt smooth and true. Most of the budget must be spent on the greens because the rest of the course is not in very good shape. The tees are average at best, worse on the Par 3 holes. They don't water the fairways so the chance of getting a good lie is not good. Some of the fairway bunkers have sand in them but the ones around the greens are mostly hard packed dirt, with pebbles and shells. Sometimes they rake the dirt so you'll have about an inch of soft dirt before hitting the hard stuff. Worse bunkers in the area. They said they were going to take care of the bunkers back in October but I haven't seen any evidence of that yet.

Thanks for taking the time to give us a review and the excellent rating for staff friendliness. We are blessed to have the team in place we do. We are also very proud about the excellent greens conditions we have been able to provide this season. Our superintendent has been working tirelessly over the last year to elevate conditions and improve the attention to detail around the property. As you know, we are in the middle of another significant drought right now and the course is drier than we would like. We can assure you we do indeed water the fairways every night, but when you are lacking rain and the Bermuda is just coming out of winter dormancy you get the fairway conditions you see now. The fairway product is actually positioned to be in a better place this growing season than last year with the treatments we have applied this winter. The tee boxes will also be just fine Trop2355. The winter ryegrass is dying and the bermuda is not growing at full speed yet. As soon as growing season kicks in, teeboxes will be in much better shape on the par 3s. We will also continue to level and replace sod on needy teeboxes like we did in 2016 as well. The bunker issue is not a new issue at this property and we do indeed plan on adding material to the weaker bunkers at the property in the near future.

Great Greens!
I am a professional and I spend a lot of time playing in the Orlando area. The greens here are by far in the best condition! There are a lot of higher end courses in Orlando that do not come close to comparing to the condition of these greens. As for the fairways, they do need some tlc but given the weather over the past couple of months it's understandable.
Going downhill
Too bad this course doesn't have a Marshall. The last 2 times we played pace has been so slow we haven't finished.
Such a shame for a course that is fun to play.

We do have team members that patrol the course for pace of play but it looks like they were not on the course during your round. We appreciate the feedback and will put it to good use. I WOULD NOT PLAY THERE AGAIN. Fairways if that is what you would call them they have none.
No grass like hitting off concrete.
If Fazio was alive he would close these course.
No Starter. these is not even a public course standards.
Stay away I paid 35.00 that was to much.
Worst the airport is right next door ever time I am trying to tee it up a plan takes off.
Stay away from these place its a dump. I golf all over don't play there

It looks like your experience was less than perfect at the Habitat and we would like to take a moment to address a few of your concerns.
- Our fairways simply have slipped into a bit of dormancy. The cold spell we received a couple weeks ago put the Bermuda to sleep and the cooler windy days that followed added to the drier conditions we are currently experiencing. With temperatures back on the rise and spring fertilization underway, we are prepared to have some of the best fairways in years this year at the Habitat.
- Over the last year, the Habitat Green team has been hard at work upgrading bunkers, replacing tee boxes, trimming trees, creating new landscaping beds and most have been impressed with the overall increase in the attention to detail at this property. Our greens currently rank as some of the best in the county and have been in excellent shape for quite some time. New amenities have been added to the course, the clubhouse is currently being freshened. We think all in all, Mr. Fazio would be giving these points a big round of applause.
- The X-59 airport here at the Habitat has been around since the WWII days and is certainly a big part of the experience here at the course. Most of our golfers enjoy the complimentary airshow with their round but it sounds like it was not your cup of tea.
By the tone of your review it sounds like you have no intention of ever coming back out to see us Chefal, but if you would like to discuss your experience further and perhaps give us another shot, please reach out.

Thanks for your 4 star review! We are watering all we can and when mother nature gave us that cold spell a couple weeks ago it sent a lot of our grass into dormancy. We expect a big green up in the next couple weeks with some rain in the forecast and spring fertilizer apps going out. Thanks for your business!

Fun Course to Play
The fairways were a little dry, but overall the course was in good condition. It's a fun course with small rolling hills. The 9th hole is a little difficult for those of us who don't golf the best as you have to go over water to get to the green. Really enjoyed playing here. Staff was friendly

Our fairways are not over-seeded, so that dryness is actually pretty typical when the grass goes dormant. We will be greening back up here in a couple weeks with the warmer weather. Ladies day
It seems we booked a date the ladies league was playing and we were in the middle of it MONDAYS??? If so please let us know if possible it was a 5 hr round for two
Great course but bring balls!
The Habitat was a great public course to play as long as your expectations include losing your share of balls. I am an average golfer. Usually mid 80s. I still lost at least 5 balls today. The lies in fairways are tight but usually fair. When you spray a shot or 2 you will pay. Greens were in excellent condition for March.

The place is very beatifull and natural. The fairways and greens are in a good condition. The cours is fair.

Disappointing day
I'm sorry to have to say this about one of my favorite courses. I recommend it to friends often. But today was not good.
Our tee time was 2:00 and we progressed fairly well on the front nine slow but moving. We were told the Marshall was already gone for the day. When we stopped for a refreshment after nine the place was all but locked up with barely anyone around.
As we were playing the 10th hole out from behind us came the group TELLING us that they were playing through as we were to slow. We informed them that it was slow in front of us but they went ahead anyway. Before we had even finished the hole they had turned around realizing we were telling the truth but with no apology. By the time we had arrived at the 14th hole ,there was now 3 groups on the hole. At this point it was 5 pm. We didn't see any sign of being able to finish so we quit.
I do feel had there been a Marshall on the course on an obviously busy Friday afternoon this problem might have been avoided. A beautiful day for golf was turned sour.
