Naperbrook Golf Course

Naperbrook is a nice course, which can provide some challenge. The pace of play gets a little slow at times, but nothing dramatic. I would definitely recommend it to someone looking to get out for a nice day.

Course was in excellent condition, pace was awesome finished in 3 1/2 hours. Friendly staff too, overall great day !!!

Course was in great condition for mid-November. Play was slow but it was a weekend so understandable.

Have played N'brook many times over the years. Not as often lately. I like some of the changes to the course. Seems they are trying to speed up play. It is working. Course was in good shape (Nov 1st) recently aerated greens a little bumpy (to be expected) I also like what they have done with the patio area outside the clubhouse. Love those tables & chairs (Where did you buy them?) Was nice to play a Sunday round in about 4 hr 15 min was terrific. Never rushed and rarely waited. Good day at Naperbrook

I have played this course many times and with the exception of one hole it is an outstanding lay out. Challenging for a low index player (I am a 0) but friendly enough for the higher index player. Hole #3 has water right and left and is a nightmare for the average player with no safe place to play, but it is the only hole like it. The rest allow errant shots that can usually be found and still playable.

Lately they have been putting pins in inaccessible locations making it very difficult for a low index player and impossible for the average golfer. Hopefully they address this after several complaints. Highly recommended course that is easy to walk and staffed with good people.

This was the first time I play this course. I played the blue tees and walked the course. I tee'd off at 7:10 and found that we didn't have to Tee off into the sun until hole #8 I think. It was great. The course wasn't too hard if you are trying to perfect your stroke or round. Some water and some fairway bunkers but not too bad. Other than a couple Dogleg rights it was fairly straight course. I will play here again!

course was in great shape even though they had a couple inches of rain night before , able to drive carts anywhere. fairways are cut a bit long but in terrific condition . greens are excellent.

Course is well controlled and it is good for beginner or intermediate player but Snack bar staff is needed to be kind a friendly.

Staff was excellent. Mr. Dunn was so kind and helpful. The course was great, being my first time out there. A bit challenging on the greens because of different unsuspecting undulations. Fairways were great. Played on a Sunday afternoon so a bit slow. Overall I would play this course again.

I've played this golf course 8 times this year and it is always slow! It took us 2:52 to play 9-holes. The only reason we didn't walk off the course was it was a nice day and we hadn't played golf in a few weeks.

We saw the ranger one time and he was filling up water coolers on the course. MAYBE, he should focus on the pace of play instead of water!

When we went in after we played to say something to the golf shop staff their exact comment was "its a Sunday and its always slow on the weekends!"

If you know that fix the problem. My normal group of guys have decided not to play here on the weekends anymore. We don't 5+ hours to play golf.

Course in great shape except for ball marks all over the greens. You would think golfers would fix them. Greens were true and rolled nice despite previous comment.

Great public course. Greens are kept up. Pace of play was okay

Pace of play was good on a Friday afternoon. Blue grass fairways. Bunkers were in very good condition. Worth playing.

Paid $20 each with a cart on Golfnow. Normal price for a senior is $42. $30 would be about right. They do have GPS on the their carts so thats a plus. When you're in the rough the grass is that thick bladed stuff that grabs your club. Greens are heavily marked, too bad golfers don't fix their marks, but complain about them.

First time playing here, golf was fun, kind of a ho-hum course no hole where I was like this is an awesome hole. Bathrooms were not working, and the staff made it feel like it's okay to not have any clean bathrooms that work inside .

Thoroughly enjoyed playing the course for the first time. Some excellent holes, with difficult pin positions made for a tough challenge.

Any closer to the city or if this course were privately owned, I could easily see this place charging $15-20 more. Solid 18-hole links-style layout in good condition, even during these hot August days. There is some water and tall grasses to watch out for, but very playable and enjoyable for any skill level. Staff, in particular the starter, was courteous, friendly and helpful.

Haven't played the course in years and was pleasantly surprised as to the layout and condition. Greens were in great shape and the track was nice and open with some difficulty and water. GPS on the carts were awesome and the staff was excellent. Although the course had several holes with water, I was most disappointed in learning there was no beverage cart available. Definitely a course you must play and next time back I'm teeing off from the back tees.

We chose a great time to play a Monday mid morning. Course was in good shape. Only problem was there wasn't much in the way of helping people who have never played there. A couple holes we had to guess about which way was the best approach shot. We chose poorly both times. Other than that it was a great day on a great course.
