Don’t be fooled by the pictures of lush green fairways. This course was mostly weeds and sand. What an awful experience. Never again.
Hadn’t played this course in a couple of years. It used to be pretty good. Now it is deplorable. Fairways can’t be played w/o improving your lie. Tee boxes are sand with almost no grass. The greens are the worst l have played on in the Orlando area in the last 10 years. We got a Hot Deal for $23 to play this course and it was far from a bargain.
Do not waste your time and $ playing this course.
I had to search to find grass in the fairways. Not sure who is running this place, but maybe turn on a sprinkler on from time to time. Tee boxes, greens, and fairways were all in terrible shape. Not sure you can call it a golf course when you don't have grass on the majority of it.
Horrible conditions. Barely any grass on the course. Literally a sandbox
The front nine fairways were mostly sand but the greens were true. Just the reverse on the back.
The price was right.
Good layout, poor conditions
Good layout, friendly staff good value for the poor conditions. Apparently according to the members I spoke with this course is coming back into shape. I will come back next March and see how the course condition are and give another course update.
Course layout is really good and challenging. Tees are in bad shape and greens are bone dry.
absolutely horrible condition tee boxes all bare dirt fairways burnt greens rough burnt bare spots they have done no upkeep on this course and do not seem to care how bad it is save your money go somewhere else !!
Don’t waste your time!!!!!
Worst course I have ever played. They should be paying you to play there
They should be paying you to play there!!!!
Paid $20 for 9 holes here. This course was the worst course I think I have ever played on in my life(45 years old). Took my son, who is just a beginner, so wasn’t looking to spend a ton. Even at $20 for the 9 holes, I felt like they should have been paying us to play there. Can’t really say that anything was really good here, except for the 2/$6 Rolling Rock special before you go out, lol. Trust me, don’t waste your money here. If you go, you will remember this review and then you will say to yourself, I should have paid attention to the review.
Condition of course was poor, tees were awful to say the least, greens were poor to average.
Sorry to say this course has gone way downhill
they have let everything go ,fairways greens, tee boxes all bad and no pro shop at all
This course should be closed and rebuildt. That says it all!
We have always loved this course over many years but it’s present condition is not good! Fairways are arid and needing water, greens are poor with unreliable rolls and having many worn patches. The course needs attention before it’s too late!
The owners need to finance the course - perhaps reintroducing the pro shop and bar? The course was very busy so perhaps the owners need to re-examine their priorities?
Still good value for money but it could be so much better!
Pathetic Excuse For A Golf Course
This might have been a nice course at one time but unfortunately it smells like it is doing under. There is no money being put back into this facility. The tee boxes are mainly bare and you are eccentially hitting off either dirt or sand. You have to play “winter rules” as in most cases the fairways are mud or dirt and you usually need to move your ball to find grass. They should almost give you carry mats to hit off of. And then we get to the greens...terrible is an understatement, putting is a waste of time in most cases. Even for the current low price, you would be better off to pay a farmer to play in his pasture. On top of all this the one day we played there was 1 person on hand to run the whole show, inside and outside. Save your money and don’t waste you time.
Great pro layout, but green conditions that rival bad asphalt.
If they fixed green conditioning, then course is among the best in Florida.
Not the same as last year
Last year, the course was in good shape, not great but good. This year the greens caused the ball to bounce more than roll. Unwatered and hard pan fairways that had areas barren of turf. Not the same condition I played on last year.
Course very pretty greens were a little bumpy with bad patches. Enjoyed the course
