Grand/Royal at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club
Twenty seven championship holes await travelers visiting south Florida's scenic beaches. Grand Palms Golf & Country Club in Pembroke Pines also offers three nines: Royal, Sabal and Grand. All three are famous for having some of the best greens in the area, and the golf courses are played in three separate combos. The Grand/Royal 18, designed by Ward Northrup, comes in at 6,881, most of which is blanketed with palm trees and tropical foliage. The longest and most challenging of the Grand Palms' golf courses, Grand/Royal features some especially memorable water holes. A tight layout with raised greens (perfect for testing your shot-making talents), beware the Grand's bunkers, strategically placed along the greensides.

always can get a early tee time at this course
we enjoy playing at this course because of location and can always get out early. great layout with 3 - 9 hole courses that have different layouts on each. very friendly staff and great food selection to pick from after finishing play. always have an enjoyable day playing at grand palms, thanks.
Played pretty good
Haven’t been here in about a year. Don’t think the rates they charge are worth the course.
Buddy wanted to go, so I went.
Course was in way better shape than a year ago.
I would go back, but will wait until rates drop. For the price they charge now, I can pay $5-$15 more and golf a way better course.
Slow play like last time too.
Excellent vacation golf
Every year my wife and I play 3 different courses, during our week of timeshare in Ft. LAUDERDALE area. This course will definitely be one that we come back to and play again. Course was in great shape, the tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in really nice condition.
Surprisingly Challenging Course
The course was in great shape tee to green. Played Sabal and Royal which were very challenging 9’s. Definitely, can’t wait to play the course again.
Very scenic course
We enjoy playing the 3 x 9-hole courses as the holes are varied, scenic and course is in excellent condition.
First I would like to say that the staff are very friendly and accommodating as this review is not towards the staff. The tee boxes are horrendous the fairways are even worse. It reminds you on the car to repair your digits and no one does it. I got a hot deal to play here today for $39 and it’s not even worth $39. It’s worth maybe $20 and $10 in the afternoon. It reminds me of Casselberry golf club Florida.
For resort course we think it should have much better upkeep of the entire course also referring to the only restroom on entire golf course with awful smell and plugged toilets, we're not coming back
Played the Sabal and Royal.
Sabal: tight fairway challenging , need good drive!
Royal: my preference for the Royal,
more challenging hole!
Fairway have good ''green ''grass!
Greens: perfect! receptive and good rolling.
Slow play on Royal( my second 9 )
.Where's the Marshall?
No more choice to pass 2 old persons with a drive of 125 yards...waiting the green at their second shot at 200 yards and more... I think a lot of golfers forget to play ready golf...
Overall, play this course!
Not a long course, but it will feel like it. Most holes are OB both ways or OB one way and water another way. Fortunately not long, but long enough that keeping it in the fairway can be a challenge. Very wet course, too. What you carry the ball is about all you get.
Great value for the season
Course was in great shape. Pace of place was very good.
Good layout but poor maintenance
The course layout is good and challenging with a lot of water. The course has 3 9-holes where Grand and Royal are the challenging ones. Some fairways are tight so planning and accuracy are important than distance. However, the maintenance went downhill a lot where you can see poor conditions from tee boxes to greens. I am a local and play at least 2 times per week in the tri-county courses. I wouldn't play this course if it's more than $25.
