Where Has Customer Service Gone!?
My three-some showed up for 3pm tee time. The cart check-in gentleman was rude and didn't even get off his chair when speaking with us. Acted like he was doing us a favor for coming to his course.
Paces of play was horrific!!! 2:45 hours for 9 holes! No marshal, no nothing. Quit and went in the pro-shop to complain. Gave me $8.00 to come back again at a discount. Seriously! And the golf industry wonders why the head count is down annually. No more Oaks North! EVER!!
well managed and maintained.
Had a great time, the course was in great shape. Fast greens, but soft at the time. Never waited to take a shot. Great value for the cost. Driving range and practice area were very nice too. Would definitely recommend playing here.
just punched greens
Oaks north is a nice executive course with something for everyone. We played the south course in very goodtime. The greens had been punched a week or so before so they were a little bumpy and shaggy. It is a nice course to take family time on.
A great playing by myself
Well it was the day before golf fest in San Diego, the course is really full that day however I ran into Lloyd the golf pro their direct me to the south course he said to play teo through eight as many times as I like no one else on the course but just me great day thank Lloyd
Great day out
Great value for money. Love the distances - great iron practice. Perfect afternoon out.
Short enjoyable course
This course is well maintained, very challenging at times & it has a good walking terrain.
My only criticism is that aside from the restroom by the starter booth it has only one restroom the entire 27 holes considering that the majority of their clienteles are seniors most of whom have bladder problems.
However, I'll be playing this course more often than not.
Nice course
Great condition. Pace of play is perfect. Seems like it is private course so it doesn't get over booked. I hope it stays under the radar.
outstanding
First time at this location. From the time I arrived until I left everything and everyone was great. Dan was professional and extremley helpful. I will be coming back.
What's up with the bizarre starter??
Okay, so this Dan guy was really weird. It took him forever to figure out which course he was going to send us out on. My girlfriend asked him a question and he told her to calm down. We weren't in any kind of a hurry but waited for about 10 min. so he could get things figured out. The whole time we never saw anyone tee off of the North Course but he ended up sending us out to the South Course which took forever to play because it was way backed up. It just didn't make any sense. I know that he had good intentions but was just very strange and just plain rude by telling my girlfriend to "calm down". Who does that?? I'll probably be back but you might want to talk to him about how he handled sending people out.
Great low yardage golf course
Great low yardage golf course that is always fun to play
staff were very friendly
Great course to practice your short game, staff very friendly, course in fear shape.
Always Fun at Oaks North
Oaks North is always fun to play, especially when you are pressed for time. You can easily walk 18 holes in about 2.5 hours. The course is always in excellent shape. Staff friendliness is kind of hit or miss but overall a good experience. Excellent value. Join JC Golf and save even more. You can play 18 holes for about $15 during the week and can finish during the summer after work.
Great for the price
Great little track to practice your irons and a few drivers / woods. Greens were in good condition.
Oaks North
Oaks North is a nice and challenging executive course. With 27 holes available any 18 holes is always different. I love being able to walk and enjoy the view and atmosphere of Oaks North. One thing i enjoy being an executive course it allows you to hit the long ball at least once.
Fun Course
For the money it truly is a fun course to play..... Not too hard, but not super easy either. Only been golfing a few months now and so far this has become my favorite course to play. It is a well maintained course and they have a nice driving range and putting green. Staff was great as well. Will go back to play often!
Good value for money.
Nice course. Well maintained. A good challenge. Nice staff. Better than Lomas Executive and many others. I recommend it.
This course has great sandwiches
Always a great place to play. Very nice 18 hole walk. Get a sandwich while your there, good stuff.
Best Executive Course in San Diego
Oaks North will challenge your golf eye. This is the best exec course for all levels. Kids to seniors will enjoy a round here and it demands accuracy.
Great course for beginner or to practice short game
Played 18 (North and South) with my parents and 8 year old son. Relaxed, easy par 3 course for all ages with a steady pace of play. Great exercise walking this course. Play about a dozen times per year here and enjoy it.
