The layout of the course is interesting, challenging and features perfectly manicured lush, rolling fairways. You'll be glad you experienced this excellent combination of hole designs and truly great golf. Water comes into play on 10 holes.

Golf Advisor: Top 25 Most Improved U.S. Golf Courses
Too much water in the course. Golfers did not pay heed to the cart path only rule. Course should have been roped off more aggressively . Tee box were brown on every hole and overgrown. A bit of neglect in the maintenance .Will not hesitate to return. The design is compelling. Hopefully the grounds staff can get the better of the conditions.
Course suffers from lack of mowing and upkeep
I had heard that this course had a nice legacy and we decided to play it for that reason. Unfortunately, it seems that circumstances have led to a lack of upkeep that resulted in weeds everywhere and greens/tee boxes that were badly kept. Without a tremendous amount of cash infusion, I don't see this being much of an option for my group again. Apologies for not taking pictures, but I can certify that the rough was more weeds than actual purposeful rough. The tee boxes were simply mounds of dirt with a mix of grass and weeds everywhere. Some greens (especially hole 2) were terribly scarred.
Best course in Broward County
Great staff. Great carts. Great layout. Great tee boxes. Great greens. Very well manicured for the summer. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to play this course.
everything would be 5 stars except it rained in the morning we didnt start until 1pm and by the time we got to #11 it was still soaked same with #12 #13 and #14 outside of that is a great place to play cant wait to go back again
Favorite course in tri-county area
Beautiful, challenging, long, course in a very accessible location. The fourth hole is astounding! With a beautiful view of the new guitar shaped hard rock hotel behind the high pyramid green.
A once beautiful challenging track (hardest in South Florida) seems to be getting worse and worse each time I play lately. Not sure what is going on maybe they have less money for maintenance staff but the conditions were embarrassing. Tee boxes were horrendous fairways were decent but a lot of dead spots throughout the rough. The usually consistent greens were in need of some water. They were rock hard and looked to be dying in spots. I really love this place but I am tired of paying premium prices and getting subpar conditions.. hopefully things will improve but I will not be back until I hear some better reviews
I haven’t played here in over a year.
I invited a friend for his first time playing here, and was very disappointed in the course conditions. The tee boxes were ALL in bad shape, the rough was terribly over grown, and the overall aesthetics of the course was poor.
I am aware of the COVID situation at course, and have played several courses since the reopening; but this, by far, was the worst.
STILL CHARGING “PREMIUM” COURSE PRICES!
Very disappointed, even with Hot Rate pricing. Course is in terrible shape; tee boxes are either closed or in very rough condition. Two holes have all the tees in the same place, with one at 79 yards. Would love to have played here a decade ago - this course has great bones, but has been left to rot. Play the $35-$50 courses nearby for a better round.
In Horrible Shape
I was surprised the course was in such bad shape since I had previously played it a few years ago. Tee boxes either closed or unkept, some of the greens had mud showing, and just felt like playing a course that should cost $18 a round. The lady at the front desk was very nice though.
Not sure what happened to this place...
A nice local course for fun and challenges
The green and fairway conditions are good but some tee boxes need care. It's hard to believe that they had a lot of time during the COVID-19 shutdown and didn't take care of the tee boxes. The fees are on the high side when comparing to other local courses with similar conditions. However, this course provides a lot of challenges than other local courses. The layouts, the green undulations, the elevated greens will give you 4 hours of painful but fun experiences.
Great Course, Even Better Staff
Fun course, yet challenging! Unique layout you won't find anywhere else in South Florida. Best part about this place - the staff. They encourage you to have a good time!
One of the best courses in the area, hands down
The Club at Emerald Hills is a long, challenging course with great staff and an excellent facility. The course is in great shape and the beverage cart comes around at least twice per side. Competitive rates and twilight specials keep me coming back!
Not the best staff but worth it for the twilight price
The starters came off as racist, women in the pro shop we’re fine though and the course is better than most but definitely not worth $75 I paid $33 for the twilight tee time. Pretty challenging course and I don’t regret it but I just didn’t feel welcome.
