The Club at Emerald Hills
The layout of the course is interesting, challenging and features perfectly manicured lush, rolling fairways. You'll be glad you experienced this excellent combination of hole designs and truly great golf. Water comes into play on 10 holes.

Golf Advisor: Top 25 Most Improved U.S. Golf Courses
I haven’t played here in over a year.
I invited a friend for his first time playing here, and was very disappointed in the course conditions. The tee boxes were ALL in bad shape, the rough was terribly over grown, and the overall aesthetics of the course was poor.
I am aware of the COVID situation at course, and have played several courses since the reopening; but this, by far, was the worst.
STILL CHARGING “PREMIUM” COURSE PRICES!
Very disappointed, even with Hot Rate pricing. Course is in terrible shape; tee boxes are either closed or in very rough condition. Two holes have all the tees in the same place, with one at 79 yards. Would love to have played here a decade ago - this course has great bones, but has been left to rot. Play the $35-$50 courses nearby for a better round.
In Horrible Shape
I was surprised the course was in such bad shape since I had previously played it a few years ago. Tee boxes either closed or unkept, some of the greens had mud showing, and just felt like playing a course that should cost $18 a round. The lady at the front desk was very nice though.
Not sure what happened to this place...
Great Course, Even Better Staff
Fun course, yet challenging! Unique layout you won't find anywhere else in South Florida. Best part about this place - the staff. They encourage you to have a good time!
One of the best courses in the area, hands down
The Club at Emerald Hills is a long, challenging course with great staff and an excellent facility. The course is in great shape and the beverage cart comes around at least twice per side. Competitive rates and twilight specials keep me coming back!
Not the best staff but worth it for the twilight price
The starters came off as racist, women in the pro shop we’re fine though and the course is better than most but definitely not worth $75 I paid $33 for the twilight tee time. Pretty challenging course and I don’t regret it but I just didn’t feel welcome.
Course was in great condition, pace was a bit slower than expected, and we teamed up with another twosome to cut the waiting time.
Twilight price was excellent as well
Love the layout, staff not so much
I've played there with friends at least 5 times in the past month, the staff is not so friendly sometimes, perhaps it is just my experience, the second you park they start asking you your name and tee time, as if you are not going to go to the pro shop and pay there, they ask you once more when you get to the starter, your name and what time is your tee time, sure I'm here carrying my golf bag just because, I don't have tee time, non sense, then after I paid, I go back and say hey I'm 1:48 tee time, once more, "what is your name", "did you pay already", again, maybe I had a few bad encounters with the staff, maybe its just because of the COVID situation, but honestly, not my to go gold course and yes, just because of the staff.
Thanks for your time in writing your review. We do value your comments to help make every person have a memorable experience at Emerald Hills.
We are VERY sorry for the experience. I will work with the Staff to improve the friendliness that each customer deserves. Due to Covid 19 because The City of Hollywood Guidelines we are not allowed to receive walk ins during this time. That is why you are greeted out front and directed to wear a face mask and go around the back to the proshop because the clubhouse is shutdown. Along with NO handling of receipts we must ask the guest to double check our records. We are truly sorry for this inconvenience. We do have people that unfortunately try to show up without times that we must not allow to comply with City Guidelines. We are sorry if you felt the experience was too much of a bad encounter. However i would like to welcome you back for a better experience once CoVid is over and we dont have so many guidelines to follow.

Lost its luster
Disappointed at the conditions on this course which was once a gem. This course has potential with a really challenging layout but the conditions were poor. Greens were bumpy and inconsistent. Fairways were overgrown in spots. Tee boxes were poor and some were consolidated Up to the ladies tees. I won’t return until conditions improve.
It had been several years since my last round on this course and I remember it being difficult. It still is, and my game didn't match it. Some loooooooong holes, especially if it's windy. Swallow your pride when you pick the tees you wish to play from. Greens were a bit bouncy but otherwise solid.
This course is nice
That was my first round at EH. Everything was alright.
Very difficult course!
This course is expertly designed to promote failure. The course rips your heart out and destroys all hope. It’s as if it’s greens are designed to funnel your ball into the water. If you love to golf, then this is the course to test your skills. I was humbled, but I will definitely be back for another beating!
Beautiful and challenging
Nice weather! Third time on this Beautiful and challenging course. Only 4 of 11 golf balls remains! Perfect for checking in at the AirPort!
