The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Much improved - a legit option again
I've been critical of Oakbridge in the past and conditions had slipped to the point we hadn't played there in a month or so - but couldn't resist a $12 hot deal including a cart ! and was rewarded with better conditions.
Greens are still rough and probably the weakest aspect but there's new grass coming in and I expect they will improve. Traps were actually raked and fluffy. Tee's and fairways were pretty nice so I'm rating Oakbridge a solid 4 factoring in the speed and price.
Jax Beach greens are far superior but fairways comparable.
Today I played 18 in a shade under 2 1/2 hours vs 4 hrs at Jax Beach
Paid $12 to ride for 18 while Jax Beach is now $18 ! to Walk 9
I'll be back
great value
Nice little course. Friendly staff. Nice clubhouse. Pace of play was awesome. Played with my son as a twosome and had a lot of fun. Tee boxes a little rough but overall a great place to play. I'm about a 15 handicap
As good as you can get for $30
I am as critical of other golf courses as one can be, having worked at many exclusive places over the years. So other than a few dead spots on shady tee boxes and greens, it was the most enjoyable stress-free round I’ve had in recent memory. From the pro shop staff and bag drop to the cart girl and ranger, they were genuinely nice folks. It was an awesome time. Never had to wait on groups or let others play through, which is great for a Friday morning tee time.
I will be playing again there very soon.
Greens
Course will probably be a good course when they redo it. Has always been a good Lay out just the greens are not good
Great Value
The course is a good variety of layouts and is a great value...Saturday morning is crowded
Poor staff choices
Played this course a few years back and loved the layout and staff. Today however the staff was unwilling to help in a time of need. Had a sibling that was playing the front nine and wanted to play the back nine so I could join. The only issue was that I needed a tee time past 4 for the back to join him but the lady at the front desk said that "Today we can't help you." It was my brothers birthday and I was really hoping the staff would accommodate being that I already had someone on the course. In summary, I am regretful to say that I will not return or recommend this course going forward.
Positives and negatives
Booked this course for 30 bucks. The area had taken a bunch of rain and the course wasn’t in too bad a shape considering. There was a lot of duck poop on the greens and they were a bit fuzzy, but definitely taken care of. Hole layouts were interesting and challenging.
The problems my group had were with the staff and clubhouse. We teed off at 1pm and made the turn at 3. We were hoping to be able to grab a hotdog or something quick, but we were told they were “all sound out” and could only eat at the sit down attached restaurant. We instead had to settle for peanuts and chips. Course is solid, but bring your own food just in case!!
Very fun course
First time back since last July and the course is in much better shape! Challenging yet very fun. Will definitely be back soon
After the rain
1st nine dry, coarse looks best I've seen in a while and well manicured started to rain at beginning of 2nd nine whitch didnt stop me it cooled me off. I had a great relaxing time, thanx
Needs lots of work!
Greens were horrible. Fairways in bad shape. No drinking water on the course, no ball washers. Limited signage for holes, no cart girls/ guys st all. Not worth the price.
Garbage
GREAT layout, horribly maintained from all aspects.. ZERO sand in traps, course hasn't seem a weed eater in a very very long time. $15 would be over charging
