The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Still a great value
Greens are in good shape now though they’ll aerate again next week.
Always loved the layout. Great value.
Carts n the Green Wheres the Marshal?
All was good, except the four novices in front of us continually drove carts to and on greens and by 9th hole they were shuffling around the pin pretty badly
WHERES the MARSHAL?????
Improving conditions
Pleasantly surprised to find that the greens were solid - best I’ve seen here in a year - kudos to the crew
We are glad that you noticed the course improvements and thank you for the honest feedback!
Below average course, much better courses close by
Good luck finding good grass on the tee box. Greens are very slow, very poor drainage (like a swamp everywhere but I’ll let that slide, been raining for weeks), and the sand traps are rock hard. Hardly even sand traps. I paid hit deal prices for the round and I don’t even feel like that was cheap enough for the conditions. Sadly, I think they have just given up on this course given the impending development that will take over many of the back 9s holes.
Nice Tract
A challenging Arnold Palmer design with lots of water. The greens were slow, but they held well. The fairways were in good condition, but needed some attention to make them first rate. Overall, a good experience and a good value.
Sad it’s not taken care of
Beautifully designed course however the cart paths and greens are in neglected shape. Good value for the $29 we paid to play.
going to pot
This used to be a very nice coarse. I have played for years and every year it gets worse and worse. I was told by an employee that someone is going to dump 2 million dollars into the coarse and make it 12 holes? I will never play that coarse again.
Oak Bridge Golf 05/06/18
No refreshment cart on the course. It was a rather warm day and could have used a cold "Gatorade"! Greens and fairways in average condition but some of the tee boxes were rough.
No children allowed
I called this place to ask about the dress code, no dress code.
I have never asked a golf course if you can bring a child with you.
But apparently I should have.
I read about the course, read reviews, look at their website, no mention of no children allowed.
Great but for the greens
At one time this must have been a wonderful course. The design and challenges it has makes it fun to play. It appears though that the greenkeeper eithe quit or died and they forgot to replace him. We did not see one maintenance person or staff member besides the Cart girl the whole time we were there. I was late and missed the starter but when I got there no one was w the carts. When I returned the cart there were two young guys but neither even bothered to acknowlege I had arrived and continued with thier conversation. Will go back to play for the $25 I spent I did get my money’s worth.
We found the course to be very challenging as there is water on every hole. Some of the tee boxes need some TLC and there are imperfect greens scattered about. Overall the experience was rewarding as I got to spend the day with my Grandson!
Great course conditions okay
Love to play Oak Bridge. Good par 70 course where most of the greens are in better shape with the exception of hole 10. All the greens are slower than you may want but was pleased to see more grass than normal. Tees need work but rather see the fairways, greens and aprons stay in better shape than spend a lot on redoing the tees. Recommed playing the course again if you have stayed away. It is worth the $25-30 fee for a good average shaped course where they need lots of players out there as it was dead on a Sunday morning. Facilities were upgraded recently hope they can keep up the good work.
Greens are in rough shape. Tee boxes need some attention. Hopefully new management will address these. Nice layout and potential is there. Played w a member and his daughter, who were wonderful people and a joy to play with. They helped with the layout and made the day fun. Post round we enjoyed the bar and apps. Amenities were very good.
Worst Conditions Ever
The course is in horrible shape, being located where it is, it’s a disgrace that it’s in such a bad shape, the bunkers were like concrete, there was weed all over the tee boxes, fairways and greens... greens are horrible overall very bumpy
We are glad you enjoyed your time on our course. Unfortunately, some people have no respect. You raise a good question, and thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It's important to enforce rules on the course at all times to help maintain and improve conditions, especially of the greens. You are welcome to call our golf shop anytime you notice this type of behavior and we will do our best to correct it immediately. Thank you for visiting!
