I always enjoy the days I have the opportunities to play Los Serranos. It's a fairly long but wide and fair course. I am a very long driver so the layout suits my game. The weather was perfect and I was paired with 2 other golfers. We got through our round in 3.5 hours which was good considering it was a weekday. The golf course itself was in pretty good condition for a public course. Staff was friendly as well. I would recommend Los Serranos to any golfer of all skill levels.
Loved it!
Am in the area on business from out of state so I wasnt sure what to expect. It was a beautiful day and being a Friday afternoon it was busy so the slow pace wasn't a surprise. The starter was very helpful with advice like "the greens are pretty fast today (he wasn't kidding!) and the lady at the snack bar next to the 7th tee box (I think) was super friendly. I would definitely play here again if I'm in the area.
Good value. Course was in ok condition. Greens were fast. Overall good day.
Great Course for Both Beginner to Advanced Golfer
Los Serranos' north course is both fun and challenging for any level of player. From the forward tees the course is very playable but from the tips, the course can be quite a challenge. Due to the rains, the course played wet, but there was no standing water anywhere. Both the greens and greenside bunkers are in fabulous shape, with the greens rolling smooth and fast. The fairways and rough can be a bit patchy in places, but overall in good shape. The entire course is green with no visible brown areas. If you are looking for a fun round of golf, definitely look at the north course next time.
Great course!!
We had a great time playing especially since it was our first time playing here. The course was in great condition considering it rained a couple days before the staff was very friendly and all amenities were well kept, but we did Have a group of guys behind us who continuously yelled at my friend who is a veteran And not that well at golf we were forced to leave after 11 holes Due to his discomfort but overall it is a great course and will likely play again
Soggy Round
First time on North course, like layout. Would have been a better day if it was not so wet and cart path only. With so soggy drive did not roll at any making drives short, bunkers full of water, and approch shots plug on greens. Pace was pretty good for paths only, finished in less than four hours, was suprised. Will definitely try again spring/summer when little drier and warmer weather.
Los Serranos
Pace of play way too slow. Marshals out there but not doing anything to correct it. Unfortunately pace of play is killing the game and this course does nothing to help it.
Many golfers on North Course
Due to the fact that the South Course was having a big tournament the North Course was crowded more than usual, but the pace, even though it was slow at times, was ok. The course is in pretty good condition.. A very enjoyable day
Lol what a day.
Pro shop seemed a bit overwhelmed and may have had to many booking at same time. They could use some work on their organization and not just stack tee times just for the sake of profit. Also maybe inform the public that there was a girls high school tournament going on. A little ridiculous expecting players to be happy with a 5 and half hour round. The starter seemed to try but didnt know what to do. Haha. Nice layout and long yardage course but staff needs tons of work. I can see why the reviews are down. Glen Ivy or Eagle Glen a better option.
Disappointed that we waited approximately 1 hour from our reservation Tee Time. We liked the course, but an hour wait?
Beautiful weather, good challenging course
The greens had been aerated so putting was challenging, but that's why we were given a discounted green fee. I can hardly wait for Oct. 8 when the greens are expected to be in perfect shape again. I was disappointed that so many golfers were leaving their divots and not repairing them. I think today I must have entered many sand "traps" and most the sand was packed and hard, making it difficult to properly stroke ball out and unto the green. The pace was good and I enjoyed your beautiful course.
Good day of golf
The summer heat finally broke. Course was in good shape, challenging but not diabolical. Played with two other singles and we were behind a foursome so pace was ok, 4 hours to finish. I’d like closer to 3.5 hours on a weekday afternoon but it didn’t feel slow. Will definitely be back.
