Diamond Valley Golf Club is an easy drive into Hemet Valley from a number of locations including San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Though it's easily accessible, the course is tucked away in the San Jacinto Mountains, offering a feel of peaceful seclusion. The layout encompasses a variety of terrain, from scenic waterscapes to lush, rolling hills covered with native plants and grasses. With dramatic elevation changes from tee to green, this course isn't walker friendly, which can easily be overlooked if you're looking for a truly formidable test. The sloping nature of the landscape lends a different character to each hole and the elevated tees provide panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. One of Diamond Valley Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th. It's as scenic as it is challenging, requiring a short iron to wedge shot over a cascading waterfall.

Golf carts
Course was in decent shape considering the drought last year. A lot of the over grown areas were cut back. My only negative was the golf cart. They put in very nice gps screens , but they are not active. The only thing that is active the the throttling on the carts. At one point we were on the cart path and the cart throttled down and said we were in a restricted area and to back up. To sum it up. Let’s get the gps active and let’s cool it on the cart governing.
Golf Course
The Proshop staff provided excellent service. The course is coming back very nicely. We are returning for another game this week.
Dryer than most courses
I've never seen this course this dry. they are trying to regrow grass around the tee boxes but still pretty rough. Still , it is a good layout and worth the price.
Cow pasture
What happen to this course used to be in good shape but boy has it gone down in the year since I played here last. If you have money to burn and there is no other course open in the area then play here. The very slow play didn't help.
Not as nice as in previous years
Course is not in very good shape. Tee boxes have no grass. #9 has been seeded, so cart path only, so if you hit your ball into the valley it is a long walk. Not for those that cannot walk easily as the carts have a gps. This GPS does not tell you the yardage just stops you from going into their restricted areas. Which are the valleys. If you have any issues with walking, you will not be able to go down the valley with the cart. They are trying to get back into shape, but it will take time and lots of patience and water.
nice layout. Dry fairways made for lots of roll but many very thin lies in fairways. Bunkers are essentially wet sand with a dry crust on top. Greens were in good shape. GPS in carts show hole layout and your position but no distances.. In general, course is a nice change from desert courses Of Coachella Valley.
Course has really dried out. Greens we're being airiated but we were not told on our arrival or when the tee time was made. Golf Now made the situation right.
Love this course!
This is a challenging course. The greens are in great shape but the fairways need water. If it's a wet winter this course will be a beautiful place to play. The two to three tiered greens, 9 - 18 are tough. I just hope more people play this course. they won't be disappointed!!
brown and dead
The course looks like it should be closed. I've played here since it opened and it never looked this bad before. The greens are the worst I've ever played on.
Diamond Valley Course
This course has been neglected to a point that is a shell of the course it used to be, what a shame. The consequences of the neglect is reflected in the number of customers playing the course. There were only a hand full of players on the day we played where in the past it would have been very busy on a Sunday morning.
Excellent Course That Needs Work
I love the layout but it needs severe maintenance to bring out the best of this course. The course is very, very dry. I detect some financial trouble but that's only a guess. They are watering and protecting the greens which are in excellent shape. But the rest of the course needs a water. Hard to understand this because it can't be a drought issue anymore. When my group came at 2 pm on a Saturday, the entire staff seemed to be only 1 person. The person worked the pro shop on one side of the building and the snack shop on the other side of the building...no cart attendants, no marshals, beverage cart. Sad but I hope better times are down the road because it does have nice bones.
Not a easy course u need to stay in the fairway
Course could use some water on the fairways, greens were sanded but in. Great shape.
