Nice course
Played this course for the first time. Beautiful scenery. Very well maintained. Fairways and greens great shape. Greens difficult but that’s on me.
Personnel in Pro shop and snack bar excellent. I was here on a golf vacation with a group of guys.
Will definitely come back if I get a chance
Fun in the sun
First time here, it was a home run. Course was excellent, views incredible, challenging but yet fun. Beautiful sunny day. My new favorite place to play.
Great land but poor course design
Views are great but course design is lacking. Conditions are good. Way too narrow and houses are right on the course.
Nice Mountain and Pines Course. Worth the Drive
Played here while staying in North Tahoe. It was worth the scenic drive north. Very nice layout winding through the trees, and along the river with various ponds and elevation changes - very scenic and quiet. Course was in excellent shape, and place of play was as fast as you wanted to go. Some holes have houses along them but many are in the trees. Just a very nice layout for the better golfer with enough length and importance of placement off the tee at a premium. The staff was exceedingly nice and helpful too on my first visit there. Highly recommend.
Beautiful mountain course
Each hole is really different. Excellent use of terrain.
hidden gem
Great course. I have played the other courses in the graeagle area and Plumas Pines is my fave. Layout is diverse and conditions are pristine. Greens are consistent with undulation that is deceptive but fair. Highly recommended!!
Hidden jem
For those who have not played Pumas Pines it is time to get out there. The course is in great shape. Pace of play was excellent (no or minimal wait). We played in under 4 hrs. We played the day before Father’s Day and has a great time. The course remains challenging but fair. The staff is great in both the pro shop and snack shop. Plumas is my favorite place to play in the Greagle area.
Plumas Pines gem
We just played a round yesterday and it was gorgeous. Nestled in the mountains near Portola this course is a hidden gem that everyone should play. Scenic tee boxes and lush green fairways and greens make this course stand out. There's plenty of pine trees to contend with but not so much that it diminished the round. I hit a few of them, sorry trees, but I actually had a couple of lucky bounces, so I'm not complaining too much.
The staff was excellent and I can't wait to come back.
The course conditions were outstanding
Although the course was difficult to play with the windy conditions it was extremely well maintained. It's a beautiful course!
Gol in Graeagle
Beautiful day, wonderful course, with the exception of the hideous green and pin placement on #9. If it was not 75° and beautiful out 5 1/2 hours would’ve been a little tougher deals too…
