Great day in the sun. Photo submitted by DinoSheardown on 04/27/2020
Great Condition
Course was in great condition. Greens were rolling pure and true. Overall, the course was in some of the best conditions I’ve seen in a long time.
Slow play.. no marshal.
I played this course for many years, but I think my playing time here has come to an end. It should never take 4 hours and 50 minutes to play a par 70. I spent a lot of time on the greens fixing ball marks from players who just really don't care. Obviously the course doesn't care either if they're not going to have a marshal to discourage slow play. Not worth what they charge.
Coyote Hills
Course in good shape. The functioning oil wells along some fairways add an exotic touch to this course - do not bother at all. the layout is at times challenging, and you have some blind holes, but not unfair. Greens were true and had fair speed - it is annoying that too many greenfee guests are not fixing the ball marks. Other than that it is a great public course.
Awesome!
This was my first time playing this awesome course. I am not sure how I have missed playing here, but look forward to future rounds. Excellent condition with breathtaking views. Can't walk this course, so plan on taking a cart. Well worth the $$.
Epic Course
Absolutely loved our round at Coyote Hills! Course is awesome with tons of elevation changes. Greens rolled great and the fairways were in perfect shape.
Will certainly be back to play again!
Gorgeous Course
This course was so pretty. The 18th hole especially but there are so many picturesque holes throughout. I imagine in the spring with a more clear day it would be even prettier.
Good course with good price
Everything is more than average. The Tee shot by driver can allow at few hole only due to short.
Pace play
Now I know twilight times are cheaper for the price, but the course was so backed up I left at the 5th hole. The pace was the slowest I’ve seen on any golf course. It made it so unpleasant and you can’t talk to the staff to help or a marshal because they close the pro shop at 5. If people are on the course, there should still be a marshal helping the experience. This course pace often runs slow and for the price they typically charge, there should 100% be order on the course. It’s not right with how slow it is. For those of us that aren’t retired and have to work jobs Monday through Friday and still want to golf, makes weekday golf unpleasant with how slow it is. We still want to enjoy the course and have a good experience.
Beautiful Course, Walking It Would Be a Challenge
I brought my push cart, having never played this course before, and I couldn't get my umbrella to cooperate, so I ditched it and used a driving cart. Thank goodness I did! This course was gorgeous with a TON up up and down hills and steep paths. I'd have never survived in 80 degree heat walking it. There are so many challenging holes on this course. Pace of play that day was incredible. Absolute gem.
Fun course
Fun target golf challenge. Course layout and scenery make the round even more enjoyable.
