Great for the price
Got a real Hot Deal....Cold reception upon arrival until we met the starter--good guy....Finished round and restaurant closed-unless we had "chips"....Course nice with a few spots...Great for price
We had a great time the course is in great shape. Love the weather and meet a good guy that we got paired with Jason he's a lot fun and he can hit the ball very good like a great shot that he had in a par 3 in the back nine excellent he got a bird. We love playing this course hope we can come back before long
Golf with friends
The course has not recovered from the flood in February and lots of damage still evident. Our start time was delayed by 25 minutes and it was a 5 hour and 20 minute round. Marshalls couldn't do anything as the course was just over loaded.
Definately Play the Resort course again!!
My wife and I were pleased with this course. It' has a challenging layout, the pace of play was perfect. The staff and other players were really friendly. The par 3's were challenging both short and long. There hidden sand traps behind a couple of holes that will get you if you hit it long. You've got to play it smart and keep it on the green. There's a lot of water as well so keep it straight. There are two courses and the other, the Legends course is more wide open and easier. The Resort course can be a challenge. If you spray to ball off the tee you'll shoot a high score for sure. Can't wait to play this course again!!!!!!!!
Some of the course is in ICU
Unfortunately some of the Tahquitz Creek Resort course got devastated by February's floods. Three or four of the fairways were bare in spots, probably from all the sand and dirt that was deposited by the historic flooding,
We were not put off by comments on this course about the recent water damage and turned up to play . Only the first few holes have the left hand side of the fairway roped off where the cart path was . After that you are left with amazing views , some awesome holes , good paced greens and a good course where you’ve got to think about placement off the tee rather than just hitting up and down straight fairways . At a bargain price of $25 booked last minute it was a great value find
Mother Nature’s Rath
Played the Legends early Feb, pace really slow so popped over to Resort course after nine for 4 holes and loved it - so was really looking forward to playing the whole 18. Unfortunately the rain event Feb.14 really took it’s toll on Tahquitz Creek so many adjacent holes were affected and it just didn’t seem like the same place I remembered. They have a lot of hard work ahead. My only disappointment was that I booked thru Golf Now, therefore the 2 drink tickets you normally get with your round I was not eligible for.
Call for course conditions
Granted, the course was not in good shape from flooding, but more than that, the staff was awful. The starter was a complete jerk.
The only thing that made it fun was the local guy we played with.
Course should be further discounted due to flood damage. Greens were good.... fairways poor
Good comeback after flood
The course was in relatively good shape given the amount of the Feb 14 flood. It is not in prime condition but that’s understandable. It is always fun and challenging to play.
Fun Golf Day
The course is in very good shape considering the terrible flooding in Palm Springs in February. The staff has worked very hard to clean up the damage. The starter explained a few areas that might be hazardous due to water and sand which was nice to do. None of these areas were issues for us and didn’t disturb our game. The greens were in great shape!
Course was in rough shape
Course had been damaged by severe rain, the fairway on 4 holes were nearly un-playable. The course should have offered reduced green fee's or at least notice when booking. They told us since we booked on Golfnow they had no way to notify us, which I find interesting since they had my contact info.
I like this course but im not sure they should have opened it now. Damage was extensive from the flooding.. tees and greens were not damaged but course needs several weeks to heal. They are working hard on it and i think it can be playable by next spring..
The course is still recovering from the flood. Six or seven holes are significantly damaged. Until these conditions improve, this course is not worth playing.
Not ready to open
As we played the course I realized that there were many holes that were just not recovered enough from the storm last month. We had many narrowed fairways and some entire holes were soft and muddy from the flood. Dont play this course for at least another month.
